Overview Welcome to Wysteria Mod, a sizeable and Vanilla-styled content mod aimed at expanding Terraria's arsenal with detailed weapons, accessories, buffs, utility items, quality of life features, recipes, reforges, and much more! Wysteria Mod focuses on introducing and encouraging players to experiment and come up with a variety of setups, builds, and strategies. Speaking of strategies, Wysteria Mod adds a whole variety of accessories and armor sets for players to use new playstyles! (debuff and attack speed builds, just to name a few) This makes Wysteria Mod great for experienced players who want to maximize their damage! This mod can be played in Singleplayer, Multiplayer, and any difficulty mode. However, this mod is intended to be played in modes other than Classic, such as Expert, Master, or higher difficulties added by other mods, as gameplay in Classic is much too easy and not much of a challenge. However, it's completely up to you. If any compatibility issues with other mods or multiplayer bugs or issues occur, please post a comment or leave feedback in the Discord server describing the bug and how it happened, or contact me. Multiplayer should work completely fine, so play with your friends all you'd like! Discord server link: ⭐ https://discord.gg/6Ukx8Epe7M ⭐ Content Weapons Tons of new melee, ranged, magic, and summon weapons, each with unique effects and strategies to use alongside them! This includes classless, utility, and support weapons, such as the Flamesoul Kiln, Vilespewer, and Unholy Grimoire to name a few, which can inflict debuffs that are useful for other weapons to take advantage of! Wysteria Mod also buffs and nerfs some existing Terraria weapons, and adds special visual effects to some as well. Accessories An overwhelming variety of new accessories that increase stats and utilize mechanics that are neglected by other mods and Terraria. Use accessories that decrease some stats at the cost of others, and increase stats based on percentages of other stats, introducing and encouraging complex builds! There are also some references to other mods and games! Tools, Ammunition, Dyes New pickaxes, axes, ammunition, and dyes! Food & Consumables Wysteria Mod expands the lackluster food system in Terraria by introducing cooking materials used to cook vanilla foods and new Wysteria Mod foods. Some enemies also drop foods, making them easier to obtain and less burdensome to take advantage of. You can also find new foods by exploring! The Food Connoisseur NPC is your one-stop shop for cooking materials. Buffs Wysteria Mod adds dynamic buffs accessible by weapons and accessories. This also includes debuffs, which is a big focus of the mod! Wysteria Mod also makes neglected Terraria buffs more useful, such as Oiled. Reforges Wysteria Mod adds a bunch of new prefixes, such as those that affect armor penetration, max life, flat damage, and even prefixes that boost stats at the cost of other stats! There are also new Hardmode-exclusive reforges, and prefixes that affect the prices of items, making gathering money easier by selling items with high price prefixes. Fishing & World Generation Wysteria Mod also expands fishing and chest loot with new items, foods, and accessories! Explore the world! Quality of Life & Drops Wysteria Mod adds an unfathomable amount of accessible crafting recipes for vanilla items, and also adds vanilla and custom drops to existing enemies to enhance the Terraria experience! Boss Drops Other than the regular enemy drops, all bosses in the game will have a chance to drop special items that may aid players at that stage of progression! This includes new weapons (including classless, utility, and support weapons), accessories, potions, and armor! Emotes Wysteria Mod adds Emote Baubles, which are cute little items you can use to communicate with other players in hilarious ways! This includes a Paintball emote to use for paintball minigames, petting motions, waving, crying, hugging, and much more! Emote Baubles can be obtained through Emotion Ciphers or manufactured with the Torn Schematics that drop from bosses.
