The Cursed Pot is a Furniture & Decorations Mod that adds brand new vanilla-friendly items to the game, as well as new building mechanics. Content Highlights A new NPC called The Cursed Pot This placeable NPC comes with various idle animations and emotes, dynamic dialogue, randomized names, and an insatiable hunger for clay. It serves as the central trader for the mod's items, helping you sculpt a slew of 'Facades' with the clay you give it. Hammerable Facades The Cursed Pot offers a new take on the Rubblemaker, letting you change a decoration's appearance by simply hitting it with your hammer. You'll know if an item has this feature if it says "Hammer to cycle styles" in the tooltips. New furniture types Get creative with furniture types not normally seen in the game, including functional closets, nightstands, curtains, and doors that can be placed on the background and used as teleporters. Masking Tape When used on compatible decorations or blocks, Masking Tape lets you change which parts are affected by paint. For example, you can choose if only the liquid in a bottle should be painted, or both the liquid and the bottle itself. Currently Paintmaskable tiles • Livingwood Blocks • Dynasty Shingles Blocks (Red/Blue) • And more - look for the 'Paintmaskable' tooltip Varnishing Change the tone of any wood type to match another with the Varnish Brush and a consumable Varnish. All Varnished wood sprites were handcrafted and are fully compatible with paint. Varnish can be removed by using the Varnish Scraper. Currently available Varnishes • Wood Varnish • Boreal Varnish • Pearlwood Varnish • Ebonwood Varnish Currently compatible tiles • All Wood Blocks/Walls/Fences (Except Bamboo) • Planked Walls • Leaf Blocks (Only Ebonwood Varnish) • Dynasty Shingles Blocks (Also Paintmaskable) Chisel Change the style of certain blocks by clicking them with the Chisel. Compatible Blocks • Boreal Wood • Beams and Columns Getting Started Head into the Dungeon to find a Dungeon Vase, then combine it with 100 Clay Blocks at a Bewitching Table to craft your Cursed Pot.
