Time changes, but hope never fades. Welcome to the Forandera mod! This mod is a comprehensive content addition / quality-of-life mod. Our goal is to create a mod that, while maintaining relatively independent content, remains compatible with most other mods and multiplayer modes at all times. Experimental Feature: Forandera AI++ Project We have created a special Combat Support Mode for the main NPC, Forandera. Under normal circumstances, she exists as a regular town NPC. When Combat Support Mode is activated, her behavior changes: she will actively follow the player, attack hostile enemies, and replace her shop with an additional portable storage function and tactical debuff cleansing abilities. She also has over 50 lines of random dialogue tailored to various situations. Combat System We have added several bosses and mini-bosses, including some post-Moon Lord content (and loot). Most bosses have different AI behaviors depending on difficulty, along with various mechanics—none of which include instant-kill effects, because we don't like cheesy one-shot mechanics! Certain weapons and accessories provide targeted advantages against specific challenges. Using them will make your life much easier. We also design many unique weapons, such as: Weapons that allow stylish dodging and parrying Weapons with attack stance switching based on different left/right-click combo sequences Weapons that grow stronger throughout your journey Currently, summoner content is relatively limited—we recommend pairing this mod with other mods for a better summoner experience. Everyday Journey We know the journey itself is already fun, so we've included plenty of entertainment content: Spend coins on lottery tickets (Mathematical expectation is positive) Experience the random brewing system to obtain different qualities of alcohol (great for use or sale) Encounter awesome friendly NPCs during your adventures (because the wilderness is dangerous, so carrying an exoskeleton and heavy machine gun is perfectly reasonable) Search for rare lore-related boss drops (with support for previewing loot lists via Boss Checklist) ...and much more. Community We have the Forandera Mod Community and the Forandera Wiki (Note: the wiki is currently outdated and unmaintained! For up-to-date information, please use in-game lookup mods or leave a message online!) For the Chinese community, you can join the official QQ group for casual chat and development procrastination: 922533443 This mod has English/Chinese/Russian localization, but some localized content may be incomplete.
