Presenting, Turtle's Betsy Race! ...don't take this one seriously. This mod lets you play as Betsy. The Betsy you play as isn't a 1:1 copy of the enemy version, but it comes close! Fly free, spin in circles, breath fire, all that fun stuff! Stat-wise, the playable version has considerably less health and no innate defence. Can you beat Moon Lord? I dunno. ***** Traits ***** + 2400% increased max health (2500 base health, capped at 10000 with full life crystals. 12500 with life fruit) + Healing items heal 1400% more. + Fast, free flight. Go through walls! + Knockback immunity ~ Non-minecart mounts act like transformations, hiding your character. Items can still be used. - Reduced immunity time after taking damage. * Can be mounted by others, granting resistance to the rider. Please see the mod page for Turtle's L'il Dragon Race if you want to know more about the mounting system. Note that Betsy cannot ride others. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3348683095&tscn=1732675354 ***** Betsy's Abilities ***** Dash - Betsy dashes towards the mouse location, damaging anything she touches while she moves. - Damage and crit chance are boosted by Melee damage modifiers. - Keybind is the Primary Racial Ability Key from MrPlague's Authentic Races, which is Z by default. Circle Attack - Betsy spins around in a large circle, damaging anything she touches. - Betsy is invincible while this attack is in progress. - Damage and crit chance are boosted by Melee damage modifiers. - This attack does 50% more damage per hit than normal. - Keybind is the Secondary Racial Ability Key from MrPlague's Authentic Races, which is X by default. Fire Breath - Betsy moves backwards briefly before charging forwards while also breathing fire at a slight downwards angle. - Damage and crit chance are boosted by Magic damage modifiers. - Keybind is the Tertiary Racial Ability Key from MrPlague's Authentic Races, which is C by default. Fireballs - Betsy moves backwards briefly before launching a series of fireballs while charging forward. Betsy will rise slightly as the attack progresses. - Damage and crit chance are boosted by Magic damage modifiers. - This attack does 50% more damage per hit than normal. - Keybind is the Quaternary Racial Ability Key from MrPlague's Authentic Races, which is V by default. Screech - Betsy screeches. It doesn't summon Etherian Wyverns, it just makes noise. - Keybind is Q by default, but may need to be bound manually. ***** Betsy Transformation Symbol ***** Craft this item at a workbench with 1 Apple and 1 Fallen Star. When used, it will transform existing characters into Betsy! Use it again to transform back. If you were always Betsy from character creation... this does nothing useful! ***** Additional Notes ***** - Highly configurable, much like the L'il Dragon mod. Configure Betsy's abilities, stats, and even some other features. - Equipment and accessories will likely not render on Betsy, for obvious reasons. - Betsy can still use items, but most won't visibly appear. - Want Betsy to be colourable!? Use the last outfit for your character's gender and it will swap to colourable spritesheets. - A word of warning: Some races may lose race-specific data when saving the game after transforming into Betsy.
