Play as the Eye of Cthulhu! REPLACES your player with a clone of the Eye, inheriting some of the original's abilities: - Flight! Gravity is a thing of the past. - A dash! Works like the Shield of Cthulhu, in that you bounce off enemies and gain some immunity. 2 second cooldown, but if your dash hits an enemy, a portion of this cooldown is reduced (-1s in phase 1, -1.5s in phase 2). - Servants! Summons some servants to fight for you, like the enemy Eye does in its phase 1. Recharge this ability by landing hits with your dash. - Phases! You are in phase 1 at >= 50% health (giving +12 and +20% defense) and phase 2 otherwise (+25% damage, +20% speed, but no servants). The dash and servant abilities need to be manually bound to hotkeys for you to be able to use them. Move with WASD (I don't know how to read vanilla keybind changes, sorry) Most items and equipment will not work (they either don't fit or you don't have hands to use them). Tools will work as normal, but they will be invisible. You have a vastly larger placement and tool range to compensate for awkwardness. Instead, you gain strength from killing bosses! Each boss gives a boost to all stats: 1.3x damage, +3 defense, +40 max life, +0.1/s and +10% life regen, +3% (movement, dash, and rotation) speed. - Special rules: the enemy Eye counts as 3 bosses, and killing all bosses multiplies your boss count by 1.5. The command "/bosscount" will tell you your status. Some equipment with special effects (like the mining helmet) will still work. Some of them will hurt you, so use them at your own risk. The mod is "balanced" around not using any equipment. Your life regen is massively increased to compensate for e.g. healing potions not working. I'm new to tModLoader, and this project ended up being massive due to vanilla code fighting me at every step, so expect many bugs and oddities.
