Deterministic Chaos Deterministic Chaos is best played with the Calamity mod, but does not require it. What It Adds • 100+ new items , including weapons, armor, accessories, materials, flasks, and boss drops. • 7 Soul Traits with unique combat effects, armor paths, buffs, and more. • Multiple custom bosses , including Jevil, E.R.A.M., the Roaring Knight, The Titan, Omega Flowey, and more on the way... =) • Dark World biome variants with altered terrain, color-shifted visuals, special enemies, underground routes, and a dedicated boss. • Soul imbuement , adding unique and separate buffs to your weapons alongside reforges! • Gerson , a Soul Trait guide who helps shape your progression. Dark Worlds Enter biome-based subworlds with altered terrain, special enemies, underground routes, and new ways to obtain rare gear. You cannot freely place or destroy blocks inside them, so exploration is built around finding what the Dark World gives you. Soul Traits Build around Bravery , Justice , Kindness , Patience , Integrity , Perseverance , or Determination . Each trait offers unique class agnostic playstyles! Bosses and Rewards Face cinematic encounters with custom arenas, attacks, unique mechanics, and loot. ...and much more chaos waiting in the dark. Getting Started A wiki will soon be made to help you figure everything out in the mod, but while it's still in active development, here's a rundown! • Defeat any boss to allow Gerson to spawn. He allows you to select a Soul Trait, purchase an accesory, and buy potions. • Once a Soul Trait is selected, defeating enemies has a chance to spawn a Soul Spark. These are used for the Soul Station, unlocking Imbuements on weapons, and other SOUL related crafting recipes. • After you defeat Skeletron, Gerson will also sell your first true unique Soul Weapon! • To enter a dark world, defeat the Roaring Knight and obtain the Dark Shard.
