模组简介
A mod I made so that I can record GIFs for my other mods. Since there aren't any other GIF recording mods on the workshop right now, I thought it may be valuable. Because I only really made this for myself, don't expect updates. [[ This mod is Windows only, and is not recommended for those who do not know what they are doing ]] If you are having trouble with memory leaks from recording, try changing your graphics driver thing. You can do this by adding a command line parameter. I don't remember what the options are, but I am using "/gldevice:OpenGL" To get a low size GIF, minimize the amount of change throughout the recording, use ordered dithering, and select "No Repeat" for the pallet option. Max workshop icon size: 1 MB Max workshop image size: 2 MB How to use: 1. Bind the "Open record menu" and the "Start/Stop recording" keybinds 2. Open the record menu using the keybind 3. While the menu is open, click anywhere outside the menu to choose a frame, similarly to camera mode 4. Adjust record "scale", "frame rate", and "frame count" 5. "Malloc" the required memory 6. Close the recording menu 7. Use the "Start/stop recording" keybind to start your recording, when ready. You can press this key again to finish the recording early 8. Open the recording menu up again 9. Select the "dithering" tab at the bottom 9a. Choose your dithering an pallet 10. Select the "Saving" tab at the bottom 10a. Choose between "global table", "local table", and "no repeat" 11. Press the "Save As" button to open a file browser 11a. Press the "Save" button in the file browser to generate the GIF at the specified path/name Controls: Left Mouse + Smart Cursor --> Shift frame position Right Mouse + Smart Cursor --> Shift frame size For increment boxes: Left Click --> 1 Right Click --> 10 Left Click + Smart Cursor --> 25 Right Click + Smart Cursor --> 100 --- --- Settings details --- --- [[ Recording ]] World/Screen - When "world" is selected, the frame position and scale will be locked to a location in the world Pos - The location of the top left of the frame. This is the location on the screen, or the location in the world Size - The size of the frame. This is either the size on the screen, or the size in the world Scale - The scale to record at. This fraction is the ratio of the width and height of the recorded image, to the width and height of the frame Frame Rate - The ratio of the number of frames to capture. For example, 1/3 is 20 FPS, 1/2 is 30 FPS, and 5/6 is 50 FPS. You cannot record at an FPS above what the game does Frame Count - The number of frames to record. This value does NOT depend on "Frame Rate" Color/Grey - Whether to record normally (in color), or to record in greyscale. Greyscale recordings require 1/3 memory per frame. RAM/Disk - Whether to store recorded frames on RAM or Disk. If Disk is selected, then a temporary file will be created. You can change the temporary file's path in the config. MALLOC - When pressed, frees the current memory/recording, and prepares enough memory for the current settings and frame FREE - When pressed, frees the current memory/recording [[ Dithering ]] [ Pallet ] Web Safe - A constant, balenced pallet. There are 6 possibilities for each color value >Standard - Default >Extra Red - Red has 1 more value >Extra Green - Green has 1 more value >Extra Blue - Blue has 1 more value TOS - 16 colors Greyscale - Evenly destributed black and white colors >Bits Per Pixel - The number of different colors (2^n) Median Cut - A pallet determined by the image >Bits Per Pixel - The number of different colors (2^n) >Count Option - A function applied the count of each unique color > >Normal - No change > >Sqrt - The count of each color is square root-ed > >Log - The count of each color is Log()-ed > >Const - The count of each color is the same > >Inv - The count of each color is equal to 1000/x >Sort Tree - Closest color in the pallet is found using a constant tree >Closest - Closest color in the pallet is found using distance Mean Cut - The same as median cut, but uses the mean instead of median >Amount (%) - N = Mean * Amount + Median * (1 - Amount) [ Dither ] None (Rounding) - No dithering Floyd-Steinberg - 100% of color error is distributed to nearby pixels. This is a common choices for single frame GIFs Atkinson - 75% of color error is distributed to nearby pixels Ordered (Bayer) - Pixels are lightened and darkened in a pre-defined pattern. This is a better choices for animated GIFs >2x2 - The size of the pattern is 2x2 >4x4 - The size of the pattern is 4x4 >8x8 - The size of the pattern is 8x8 >Amount (%) - How strong the effect is. The base scale scales with pallet size. When 0, there is no dithering >Normal - Pixels, on average, are equally lightened and darkened >Positive - Pixels are only lightened >Negative - Pixels are only darkened Ordered (Colored) - The same as "Ordered (Bayer)", but red is 2x2, green is 4x4, and blue is 8x8 [ Recording ] Pre-Dither Scale - How much to scale the recorded image before dithering Post-Dither Scale - How much to scale the image after it has been dithered Global Table - On pallet is used for all frames Local Table - If the pallet allowes, a pallet will be generated, uniquely, for every frame No Repeat - The same as "Global Table", but 1 color in the pallet is lost to be transparent, and pixels that do not change between frames are made transparent Pallet Step - Determines how many frames to consider when generating the pallet for median/mean cut. The number of frames considered is equal to FrameCount/n, except when n is 0 in which only the first frame is used Delay - Overrides the delay/duration of each frame. 0 results in an average delay resulting in an FPS equal to the FPS of the recording. GIF measures delay in centi-seconds (Empty box) - Click this to select a file to be an overlay. Overlays are drawn on top of each frame of the GIF. They can also be animated at a fraction of the frame rate of the GIF (Big X thing) - Click to remove the overlay Count - The number of frames in the overlay Rate - The ratio of the frame rate of the overlay to the ratio of the GIF Save As - Opens up a file browser to choose a save path and save --- --- Config Settings --- --- Lock Background While Recording Screen - The background will remain constant when recording a screen frame Freeze Background While Recording World - The background will remain constant, relative to the world, when recording a world frame Restrain Screen To World Frame - Prevents a world frame from moving off screen by keeping the screen from moving further Auto Flip When World Frame - Flips recorded images when gravity is flipped (World frame) Auto Flip When Screen Frame - Flips recorded images when gravity is flipped (Screen frame) Screen Reverse Gravity Support - Screen recording frame has its position flipped when gravity is flipped No Repeat Small Frame - A small optimization that can reduce file size on the "No Repeat" Invert X Position - The X position of the frame will be: X = ScreenWidth - X Invert Y Position - The Y position of the frame will be: Y = ScreenHeight - Y Flip Horizontally - Records the image flipped horizontally Flip Vertially - Records the image flipped vertially Min Saving Threads - The min number of threads that will be used for writing GIFs. The number of threads defaults to the quantity your computer has Max Saving Threads - The max number of threads that will be used for writing GIFs. The number of threads defaults to the quantity your computer has Disable Multi Thread Saving - Uses the old, single threaded, saving function when using "No Repeat" mode. This is just a backup Temp File Path Override - Override the temporary file's path Developed By SPRING MOLE
