A silly little mod that adds more curse related stuff specifically to the Zoologist This mod adds: • 1 NPC • 1 Item • 2 Buff • 1 Achievement • Some more dialogue to the Zoologist But first I wanna shout out the Vanilla+ Fox Critter mod by Camiska. without their sprites, this project will be a much harder undertaking, mainly because I suck at pixel art And their sprite was a perfect base model for the fox Be sure to check it out here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3359066088 Again, thanks Special thanks to Silvy for some suggestions on stages of curses (more might be added, who knows) FAQ: • Q: How do I get the curse? • A: There is a rare enemy called "the cursed fox" that will spawn rarely (more commonly on full moons and in evil biomes), when it hits you, you will be cursed • Q: What does Zoologist Bite mean? • A: When you talk with the Zoologist on full/blood moons, she has a chance to bite you passing on the curse (this is off by default and can be enabled in the config) • Q: How do I get rid of the curse? • A: Early stages can be cured with healing from a nurse or the use of purification powder, but when the curse starts to show symptoms, the only cure is a potion of purity that is sold by the dryad post plantera on the full moon Changelog: v1.3.5: Made it so that dryad sells potion post plantera on full moons v1.3.4: I BROKE EVERYTHING IT SHOULD BE FIXED NOW, SRY v1.3.3: Made the countercurse mantra, ankh charm and ankh shield effective against the curse (cannot believe I missed it lol) v1.3.2: Rewritten some config default values to not be problematic v1.3.1: Fixed Zoologist bite causing instant stage 1 lycanthropy and some other stuff that I forgot :/ v1.3: Added some configs for ppl who are annoyed about the skin and hair color bugs, added stages to the curse as well as some accessories affecting it v1.2: Added config for customisation as well as a new way to get cursed v1.1: Fixes bug for constant custom lycanthrope chat as well as cleaning up code Known issues: Skin color and hair save data gets deleted when reloading mods for some reason, (just dont log out when the moon is full or if there is a blood moon when you have the curse because if you reload the mods, it will perma-change your character's skin color, hair color can be changed via NPCs), I might have to come back to it to try and fix it Lemmie know if anything else breaks Developed By Bluelight
