Item Bar A second hotbar for Terraria — bookmark items from your inventory and use them with dedicated keys, aimed at your cursor. Item Bar adds a draggable 10-slot bar so you can reach for tools, spells, potions, and more without swapping your main hotbar selection. Slots are bookmarks only : items stay in your inventory. Update v1.6.2: - Added option to make the bar transparent - Added option for showing/hiding cooldown UI & text Early beta This mod is in very early beta — and my first ever mod! Please be gentle if something breaks :) Some items may behave oddly or not work at all — especially melee weapons , which often fail from the item bar. That is not the main intention of this mod; it is meant for quick access to summons, spells, tools, consumables, mirrors, and similar items. Not tested with controller / gamepad input — keyboard and mouse only for now. If something breaks, please report it on GitHub (link below). Why use Item Bar? The main goal is quality-of-life for item switching. For example, if you are not a summoner but still keep a summon for help, you normally select the summon staff, use it, then switch back to your weapon. With Item Bar, press one key — the summon is used toward your cursor while your hotbar selection stays unchanged. Supported items Mods note: Should be compatible with any mod item really but obviously can't test all of it. Give it a go, chances are it will just be fine :) • Weapons, spells, and summons (vanilla-accurate shooting) • Pickaxes, axes, and hammers • Potions, food, and buff drinks (consumes from inventory; slot clears when empty) • Magic Mirror, Cell Phone, boss summons, and similar usable items Not supported / known issues • Yoyos and flails / maces (Sunfury, etc.) — use your hotbar for those weapons • Melee weapons — often do not work; melee combat is not this mod's main focus • Controller / gamepad — not tested; use keyboard and mouse • Most blocks, platforms, rope, and walls don't work, not intended either • Channel weapons (flamethrowers, drills) also not supported Controls • Assign: left-click a slot while holding or hovering an item • Use: Z X C V B N M , . / by default (configurable) • Move bar: drag the hand icon on the left • Clear slot: right-click Configure keys under Mod Configuration → Item Bar or Settings → Key Bindings → Item Bar . Bar position and bookmarks save per character. Default slot 1 key: Z Multiplayer Item Bar UI and keybinds are client-side. Each player sets up their own bar. Works in multiplayer.
