Creative Mode Press V to flip Terraria into a Minecraft-style creative sandbox. Build, fly, spawn anything, take no damage. Press V again and you're mortal. No commands to memorize, nothing to configure. WHILE CREATIVE IS ON Godmode Nothing kills you. Not fall damage, not lava, not drowning. Flight (F) Jump to rise, down to sink, left/right to move. Insta-break Any tile pops in one hit with a pickaxe in hand. Infinite use Blocks, potions, ammo. Nothing gets consumed. Noclip (N) Walk straight through the world. Map teleport Open the fullscreen map (M) and right-click to warp there. THE CREATIVE INVENTORY (press C) Four pages. ITEMS Search and grab anything. Left-click takes a stack, right-click takes one. Filter by category (weapons, tools, blocks, walls, ammo, accessories, armor, potions, misc) or by mod, or check the Recent tab for what you just used. Type a name and hit Spawn to summon an enemy or a boss. WORLD Fire off events whenever you feel like it: Blood Moon, Solar Eclipse, Meteor, Slime Rain, Goblin Army, Frost Legion, Pirates, Martians, Pumpkin and Frost Moons. Set the time, toggle rain and sandstorm, start hardmode, go peaceful so nothing spawns, reveal the map, and flip any boss "downed" flag when you want progression-gated content unlocked. BUILD Fill Tool: click two corners and fill or clear what's between them with whatever block you're holding. It draws a rectangle, an ellipse inscribed in that rectangle, or a straight line from the first corner to the second, and Replace mode narrows it to cells already holding whatever was under your first corner, so you can swap every stone block in a box for wood without touching the wood already there. Insta-Place: hold and drag to lay blocks or walls. A paint brush with every color in the game. And a real build editor, select a region, copy it, paste it somewhere else. Tiles, walls, paint and slopes all come along. Rotate the clipboard 90 degrees, mirror it left-to-right or flip it top-to-bottom before you stamp. Ctrl+Z undoes your last fill or paste. Up to 120x120 per copy. PLAYER Heal, Cleanse, No-Aggro, Kill All, Clear Drops, Full Bright, Fly Speed, Noclip. SAVED BUILDS Your clipboard survives quitting. The Build page lists everything you've saved, so click one to load it, or use chat: /schem save write what you copied to a file /schem load load it back in any world, then paste as usual /schem list see everything you've saved Schematics are small single files in your tModLoader folder under CreativeMode/Schematics, so back them up or hand one to a friend. KEYS All rebindable in Settings > Controls > Mod Keybinds. On the Items page, X cycles mod tabs and Shift+X goes back. MULTIPLAYER Works. World and event actions are validated on the server so only a creative player can fire them, and time and weather route through the host. Regular enemy spawns and peaceful mode are host or single-player only. Bosses, events, hardmode, time and weather all work in multiplayer. CHANGELOG 0.10.0 Fill shapes: the Fill Tool now draws an ellipse or a line as well as a rectangle. Replace mode fills only where the tile matches whatever was under your first corner. Rotate, Mirror and Flip act on the clipboard, so a stamp can face the other way without re-selecting the original. And the Build page lists your saved schematics, click one to load it. Rebuilt for tModLoader 2026.7. 0.9.0 Schematics. /schem save, load and list, so a copied build can travel between worlds or between players. 0.8.0 Build editor. Select a region, copy it, paste it anywhere. Ctrl+Z undo for fills and pastes. Build modes are one-at-a-time now, and a live outline shows your selection and where a paste will land. 0.7.0 Split the inventory into four pages and added the World and Build pages. Item category filters, a Recent tab, right-click to grab a single item. Server-side validation for world actions. 0.6.5 Modded items actually show up now.
