InfernoTerraria — ARPG Progression, Loot and Endgame InfernoTerraria brings ARPG character progression, build-defining loot and enhanced encounters to Terraria. Inspired by Diablo II, Path of Exile, Grim Dawn and Hero Siege, it combines Terraria's exploration and combat with leveling, skill specialization, elemental damage and an extended endgame. Build your character • Earn XP, level up and invest in attributes and passive skills to shape your character. • Explore 240+ skills covering melee, ranged, magic, summoning, survival and utility. • Specialize with 116 Augments that change skill behavior through new trajectories, persistent zones, resource mechanics and combat interactions. • Build around nine elements: Fire, Lightning, Light, Darkness, Poison, Void, Wind, Water and Earth. Learn how resistances, elemental effects and Break influence combat. Find the gear that makes your build • Hunt hundreds of unique items across Infernal, Umbral and Lunatic rarities, with distinctive effects and skill synergies. • Discover 220+ runewords by combining runes in the correct order on compatible socketed equipment. • Customize your gear with 330+ affixes, tiered rolls, socket gems and elemental set bonuses. • Search for uniques on different compatible equipment bases, giving you another reason to keep farming for the right version of an item. • Use Magic Find, targeted drops, affix reforging and the Demon Blacksmith's socket services to develop your equipment. Take on stronger encounters • Explore Normal, Nightmare, Hell and Inferno difficulty profiles, with configurable world scaling and New Game+ progression. • Enter endgame maps and rifts with modifiers, stronger enemies and enhanced rewards. • Use an Uber Sigil to prepare an enhanced boss encounter. Random modifiers and extra abilities add new threats while preserving the boss's original phases and attacks. • Encounter roaming bosses from level 15 onward. Eligible previously defeated bosses can return at dawn or dusk, marked on the map and carrying Inferno Fragment rewards. A compatibility overhaul for modded Terraria Version 1.2 reworks how InfernoTerraria integrates with other mods' equipment, projectiles, enemies and bosses. The overhaul improves preservation of native damage classes, prefixes and base item behavior, along with equipment level requirements, loot progression and multipart boss handling. Eligible modded enemies can receive Inferno skills while retaining their native AI. Enhanced encounters can use eligible bosses from other mods, and optional Boss Checklist integration helps recognize completed encounters. Configuration options let you control modded equipment bases and how Inferno's systems combine with your world. New in v1.2 • Four Inferno-exclusive iLvl 300 uniques: Dawn Covenant, Eventide Collapse, Leviathan's Wake and Worldroot Covenant. • Revised Augments, new elemental impact and zone visuals, and enemy marks that make skill stacks and combat states easier to follow. • Experience potions granting 15%, 35% or 50% more XP for eight minutes. • Basic and advanced in-game guide books with examples, images and build-planning advice. New characters receive the basic guide. • Independent difficulty settings for enemy stats, spawns, loot, rewards, maps, invasions and roaming bosses. • Fixes to rune upgrade recipes, oversized coin stacks and equipment progression. Learn as you play Use the in-game guides, Stats and Skills panels, and item compendium to understand your character and plan your next upgrade. Craft both guide books at a Work Bench, and adjust the difficulty profiles in Mod Configuration to suit your campaign. Multiplayer uses the server's settings.
