模组简介
Ad Astra - Mod Configuration Menu (MCM) Configuring mods, for the modern gamer. With MCM, you get a real configuration menu, complete with keyboard shortcuts and actually usable sliders, no matter the steps. All that, with the colors you prefer through Ad Astra’s accent color. Note that if you find these menus too small, you can change their scale in Ad Astra - Core . Features MCM has four distinct aspects, three of them offering an opt-out toggle. Mods List Replaces the menu where you enable and disable mods. Fully featured, it also offers its own memory and info views. The info view allows you to read both description.txt and the Workshop description. The latter will parse Steam’s BBcode so it renders with headers and everything. Mods are grouped by status (enabled/disabled/incompatible) and will show you at a glance whether they have settings or keybinds, whether they are local or come from the Workshop and if they have dependencies. Two views available : tiles and grid. Tiles will show the cover + name, while grid will only show the covers to fit more on screen. Mods Menu / Home By default, MCM replaces the vanilla mods list and menu, so you access it like you usually would access vanilla’s. If you prefer vanilla’s, just disable these features from MCM’s config. You can also access MCM’s home or most recently accessed mod through a keybind. MCM’s mods menu shows your mods in a grid, and only those that actually have a config you can change. You can also filter to only show mods with keybinds or to show all mods. Recently accessed mods are shown first, and you can pin your favorites. Accessing a mod from there automatically uses MCM’s own settings menu. Mods Settings This is the meat of the mod. An all-new and modern config menu that handle whatever vanilla handles (or should, at least) and more. Unlike Quality of Terraria’s mod menu, it doesn’t require modders to go out of their way to set up a menu : it uses vanilla’s headers structure to build its own, and neatly separates Client configs from Server ones. Client settings are saved instantly, Server settings are saved after a few seconds - no more forgetting to click "Save". There is also an easily visible dot to show non-default settings, and a button to set them back to default. You can easily switch between mods from the cycler in the header, so you don’t have to leave between mods. Shift + Scroll gives you fine control over sliders, steppers and can flip toggles. Shift + Drag also works for sliders and steppers. Check the screenshots to see exactly what it looks like. Finally, there is a Keybinds shortcut in the rail that allows you to see all keybinds related to a mod. More info in the next section. Keybinds & Combo Keybinds MCM has its own keybinds menu, fully functional and complete with a visual map so you don’t have to ask yourself : "Which keys are safe to use ?". You access it though the rail, or through the Home menu. If accessed through a mod, it will only show the keybinds related to this mod, and any conflict. You can directly edit (or ignore) the conflicting controls from here. From this tab, or from the Home menu, you access the "All Keybinds" view, which does exactly what you’d expect. Same behavior as the per-mod view, except you can view all possible keybinds, and filter by conflict. The rail here serves to navigate to a given mod. Combo Keybinds After installing one too many mods, I found myself literally running out of keys to assign. Combo keybinds solves this issue by allowing you to use combo keybinds : Ctrl or Shift + Key or Mouse button. You can bind Left/Right Shift/Control to different keys, so that’s four times the keybinds. This feature is disabled by default since it’s not strictly the goal of MCM, but feel free to enable it : there is no risk and it’s fully compatible with vanilla. Planned Features • Feature complete, as far as I can tell. If some settings types are missing (show : open in vanilla), let me know the mod names and I’ll investigate. Credits • Developed with AI assistance (Claude), curated and playtested manually. Developed By Fuzen
