Cursed Bond adds two fan-made pieces of melee gear inspired by Jujutsu Kaisen: Rika's Promise and the Eight-Handled Wheel. Rika's Promise - A ring that calls or dismisses Rika. Keep it in your inventory: she comes back after you die and when you enter the world again. - Rika fights alongside your melee attacks. She deals melee damage based on the weapon that last hit, adjusted for its swing speed, and takes no minion slots. - Your melee hits on real enemies build Devotion (up to 100) for three commands, each with its own cost and recovery: Love Stream, a beam; Threefold Embrace, three strikes on the enemy at the cursor; Pure Love Cataclysm, the beam of her opened eye. - Any of Rika's hand strikes can land a Black Flash for 2.5x damage: a 10% chance, raised to 30% for 6 seconds after one lands. - Rika strikes back on her own when an enemy keeps hurting you: two hits from the same enemy within 5 seconds wake her even without your melee hits. She turns her hands on it and fires a free Love Stream at once and again after 20 seconds; a minute into the fight she opens her eye for a free Pure Love Cataclysm (at most once every 3 minutes). Her defense hits in earnest even if you never swing a melee weapon. Eight-Handled Wheel - An accessory that learns each enemy and hostile projectile type from real hits. Every turn adds 8% resistance to that type, up to 32% after four turns, and then the next hit of that type is negated. - After a negation that type waits 30 seconds, and every other type 30 seconds too. With the wheel, your total damage reduction never goes above 65%. - The wheel shows only while it turns; the accessory's visibility toggle hides it. Controls (Settings > Controls) - G: Love Stream. Down + G (S + G): Threefold Embrace. Up + G (W + G): Pure Love Cataclysm. - tModLoader leaves a newly installed mod's keys unbound until you press Reset to Default in the controls menu; until then, the first world you enter in a session lists the unbound keys in the chat. How to get them - Rika's Promise: 2 Diamonds, 8 Demonite Bars and 6 Shadow Scales, or 2 Diamonds, 8 Crimtane Bars and 6 Tissue Samples, at an Anvil. - Eight-Handled Wheel: 8 Hallowed Bars, 10 Souls of Light, 10 Souls of Night and 15 Crystal Shards at a Mythril or Orichalcum Anvil. Settings - Client: effect density, reduced flashes and shake, screen shake strength, mod sound volume, and the Rika and wheel HUD (show, move, resize). - Server: whether Rika defends you; Black Flash chance, its chance after a Black Flash and its damage; the wheel's resistance per turn and both negation waits. Only the host can change them. Compatibility - Works on its own or together with Clover Grimoires, the grimoire mod by the same author. - Calamity is not required; Cursed Bond works with or without it. - Multiplayer and dedicated servers are supported.
