Automata: Music Automata: Music is a NieR:Automata inspired mod overhaul for tModLoader. It replaces Terraria's boss and biome music with the NieR:Automata soundtrack and rebuilds the main menu as a view from the Bunker, looking down on a ruined Earth. This mod nicely pairs with my made mod called Automata: Plug-in Clips! I wanted Terraria to feel like you're playing as a YoRHa android, so the music, the menu and the UI all try to carry that mood. Every part can be turned off in the config, so you can keep just the bits you like. The menu The menu is generated live rather than being a static image. A slowly rotating Earth sits below a flickering sun, with a moon, a nebula and a field of stars behind it. Faint lights drift across space, and now and then an asteroid comes in and burns up over the planet, leaving a long curved trail of sparks. The Bunker hangs in orbit, and the corners carry small HUD readouts like a system clock and an audio visualizer. The title card glitches between TERRARIA and AUTOMATA, and the buttons use the YoRHa selection style. They glitch when you hover over them and again when you click. The music Bosses and biomes each get their own track. Boss themes include Birth of a Wish, A Beautiful Song, Grandma - Destruction, Dependent Weakling, Alien Manifestation, Possessed by Disease and Weight of the World. Biome themes include City Ruins, Voice of No Return, Peaceful Sleep, Vague Hope, Forest Kingdom, Amusement Park and Memories of Dust. Day, night, towns, rain, wind, caves, desert, snow, jungle, Crimson, Corruption, the underworld and the ocean are all covered. If a track is missing, the game falls back to its normal music, so nothing breaks. You can add your own .ogg files in Assets/Music. The README in that folder lists the accepted file names and explains how to set loop points. Options Everything is client sided. In the config you can switch the Bunker menu, boss music, each biome group, menu lyrics and the Now Playing popup on or off separately. Compatibility The music uses a high priority, so it overrides vanilla and other mods biome music. If you'd rather hear another mod's music somewhere, switch that category off in the config.
