Your arena starts with a preview. Need an arena near your base, but unsure where the platforms will end up? Want to know whether your materials are enough before you start? New in 0.2.0: Heart Lanterns and Bast Statues • Enable Heart Lanterns and Bast Statues separately. Their positions and actual material costs appear in the blueprint. • Missing extras do not block platforms. Yellow marks missing items; red extras have no room or suitable support and will be skipped. • Favorited stacks stay protected. Add extras to an existing arena without paying for its platforms again. • Extras are placed only when available; failed extra placement refunds the item. Existing obstacles remain untouched. Both options start off. Open /arena and enable the extras you want. Campfires keep their previous rule: when enabled, you need enough for the complete blueprint. Safe Arena lets you see the layout in your actual world before building it. Adjust the blueprint, check the cost, then place the missing platforms and optional campfires. Existing obstacles stay untouched. See it. Adjust it. Build it. • Live blueprint: green for new pieces, blue for existing pieces, red for protected obstacles. • Protect your base: platform/campfire conflicts stop construction by default; unavailable extras are skipped. Move the layout, or explicitly choose Skip obstacles. Skipping leaves gaps rather than removing blocks. • Know the material cost: see what you need and what you can spend. Favorited items are excluded. Only successfully placed pieces consume materials. • Make it fit: three presets, width 40–240 tiles, 1–6 rows, spacing 8–24 tiles, and one-tile movement buttons. • Choose your platforms: use vanilla platform types you carry. Add ordinary campfires if you want them. • Reuse what is there: existing platforms and campfires do not cost materials again. Your first arena in four steps • Carry vanilla platforms and, optionally, ordinary campfires. • Open with /arena , the P hotkey, or a reusable Arena Blueprint crafted with 10 ordinary Wood at a Work Bench. If the hotkey is unbound, assign it in Settings → Controls → Mods → Safe Arena. • Choose the shape. Click in the world to lock the blueprint's bottom center ; the other rows extend upward. Use the panel arrows for fine adjustments. • Check the cost and red cells, then press Build Arena . Previewing alone does not change the world. Useful when… • You want to build near your house without cutting through it. • You have limited materials and want to see the price first. • You want to extend an existing platform arena without paying for it twice. Version 0.2.0 For tModLoader / Terraria 1.4.4. English and Russian interface. No required dependencies. Builds vanilla platforms, ordinary campfires, Heart Lanterns and Bast Statues. Does not excavate terrain or remove housing walls, liquids, wiring, or actuators. There is no automatic undo or boss-specific arena rating. If the world changes during construction, the result can be partial; the mod reports how much was placed. For multiplayer, update Safe Arena to 0.2.0 on the server and every player client. The server checks the request and materials again; administrators can disable construction or change its distance limit. Building is blocked while a boss is active.
