Wiki This : More Compatibility This is a BETA. It already works with a handful of mods (list below) and more compatible mods will come with the next updates. An add-on for Wikithis by BasicallyIAmFox. Wikithis is required. This add-on contains none of its code, it only improves what happens when you press the wiki key. Not affiliated with the original author. What it does, in plain words Wikithis opens the wiki page of an item when you press the wiki key (O by default). That works great for Terraria itself and for mods whose author set it up. For all the other mods you just get "No wiki page available", or a link that leads nowhere. This add-on fixes that, in the background and without freezing the game: • You hover an item (or NPC) of any mod and press the wiki key. • The add-on looks for the mod's wiki on its own: the mod's own wiki.gg first, then the community wiki terrariamods.wiki.gg, then Fandom as a backup. • It checks that the page really exists before opening it, so you never land on an empty page. • No page for that exact item, but the mod has a wiki? It opens the wiki's search for it (many wikis list items on one big page, so you still find it). • Nothing found anywhere? A short message in the chat tells you, no error. • You can also add unsupported mod wikis yourself using /wikiadd (hold an item of the mod): /wikiadd https://yourmod.wiki.gg/wiki/{} teaches it a wiki by hand, without waiting for an update. The tooltip text under the item shows what it found. If you are offline or something fails, it simply behaves like plain Wikithis. Tested and compatible with • Split Mod • Ancients Awakened: Classic • Lunar Veil Legacy • Spirit Classic • Homeward Journey • Spooky Mod • Magic Storage • Calamity Fables • The Story of Red Cloud It is a beta: other mods may work too, but some will not be found yet. More mods will be supported in upcoming updates. Help me improve it! A mod does not work? Post in the Discussions tab at the bottom of this page with: • your client.log (usually in the tModLoader-Logs folder next to the game files, from the session where it failed) • the link to that mod's wiki With that I can improve the search algorithm or add an exception for that mod. Privacy The only thing it sends is a public request to wiki.gg / Fandom containing the name of the item and of its mod. No personal data, nothing else. Client side only. Optional, for advanced users • Settings in the mod config: Fandom fallback, search fallback, chat messages, timeout.
