Extra Chest Rolls Want more loot in the chests you discover? Extra Chest Rolls adds configurable bonus items to naturally generated vanilla chests when you create a new world. Features • Choose 0 to 10 bonus loot sets per chest. • Affects supported vanilla chests at different depths, including surface, sky, underground, and deeper chests. • Preserves the loot the game originally placed. • Optional stacking of compatible items. • Option to repeat loot from chests without matching peers. • Stops adding items when a chest is full instead of overwriting its loot. How the extra loot works The mod groups naturally generated vanilla chests by tile type, chest style, and depth. Each bonus set is copied from a randomly selected matching chest in the same world, using a snapshot of its original generated contents. It does not independently rerun Terraria's chest loot tables. The result is more loot, but not necessarily the same distribution as independent vanilla rolls. Configuration Additional Rolls: 0–10 (default: 1). Each roll adds a sampled set of items. Stack Items: Combine compatible vanilla consumables where possible (default: on). Repeat Unique Chests: Allow chests with no matching peers to copy their own loot (default: off). Settings are server-side. Configure them before generating a new world. Important • Only modifies chests during new world generation ; existing worlds and placed chests are not retroactively changed. • Only works with vanilla Containers / Containers2 chest tiles; custom modded chests are not guaranteed. • Some one-of-a-kind or special chests may receive no extra loot with the default settings. • Chests have limited inventory slots; excessive loot may be discarded. • Compatibility with mods that change chest generation may vary.
