Transport everything between your Terraria worlds seamlessly, no loading screen required! ▶ Watch the full showcase on YouTube A Bridge Between Worlds Fire a portal to anywhere you wish. Walk through and you arrive just there, no loading screens or subworld trickery! • Portals carry Players, Town NPCs, Critters, Enemies, Items, Projectiles, Liquids and even Bosses . • Toss an item in, shoot an arrow through, or pour a lake of lava from one world into the other. • Each type of traveller can be switched on or off in the configs. • Whatever travels through remembers where it was. Come back later and the world picks up where it was in each world. "Did You Just Say Liquids?!" Ever wanted to drain an entire ocean or fill a large gap in the ground with water, but it would take too much effort? Well this mod just made that completely effortless! Portals are very handy for draining entire bodies of liquid and dumping them elsewhere. Bosses Will Chase You To The Ends Of The Earth And More Bosses are unique with how they interact with portals. • In Vanilla, bosses despawn when you get far from them. Here that rule is removed for the purpose of the mod, so bosses will keep chasing you across the map, like Queen Bee. • If a portal is open to a world where an active boss is currently, the boss has the chance to follow you back through and resume the fight. • Multi-limbed bosses (Golem, Skeletron, Skeletron Prime, Plantera, Moon Lord...) can take their limbs with them. • Worms and the Eater of Worlds pass through one segment at a time. The Eater of Worlds can be set to call all its pieces to the portal. • Bosses that enrage in the day (Skeletron, Empress of Light) calm down when brought back to a nighttime world. Create Brand New Worlds From Your Pocket Make a brand new temporary world from the portal gun menu and travel straight to it while still in-game. Choose what the new world should be like: • Corruption or Crimson, or leave it to chance. • Small, medium or large sizes. • Difficulty: Journey, Normal, Expert, Master, or mirror the world you're in. • Secret Seeds are supported, with a random pick or one you choose. • Modded world generation is also supported, so new worlds can include your mods' biomes and structures. You can find these options in the Random World Generation Config. Portals are.. sentient? Maybe not that advanced yet, but portals do know what's on the other side, even when it's in another world. Whatever is on the other side will start to leak out into your world. • Biome dust blows out of the portal, and you can hear the other side's music and ambience bleed in as you get closer. • Native enemies from the other biome can wander through into your world. • Evil spreads. A portal that opens in the Corruption, the Crimson or the Hallow slowly converts the land around it, so stay mindful of your green grass! • Hovering over a portal shows you the destination, coordinates and biome on the other side. A Comprehensive Menu For All Your Multiversal Needs! A full destination menu lets you pick which world to go to and where you'll arrive, with many location presets to choose from, such as: • The world spawn • The nearest ocean • The underworld • Space • Your exact position in the current world • Or custom coordinates entirely Just be sure you stay within the bounds of the world, and remember: Terraria is a 2D Game. Feeling Homesick? You don't have to leave your world at all! Choose your current world in the menu and travel between two points of your world in an instant. Six Completely Unique Variants for the Portal Gun Each gun has its own sprite, sounds, animations and portal UI inspired by your favorite franchises. They each have unique characteristics! • Multiversal Portal Gun - Every dimension, every colour, all at once. • Rick's Portal Gun - The one that started it all. Fire a large vortex out of the gun that sucks up everything into it like a black hole! Be sure to reload it after or you'll end up in a pickle. • Citadel Portal Gun - A glitchy gun that lies when it feels like it. • Aperture Portal Gun - Blue in, orange out, and the portals show a live picture of what's on the other side. • The Sling Ring - Cast a spell to open a portal at your cursor. It takes a moment to cast, and the portal closes with a gesture. • Nether Portal Gun - Step in and the screen will swirl before it takes you. Works With Your Favorite Mods! Tested with Calamity, Fargo's Souls Mod, Thorium, Consolaria and Spooky Mod , should work with most mods. Modded content can go through the portal like any vanilla boss could. Modded enemies, music, and dust will bleed out of the portal, and random worlds can be generated with modded content. Gameplay footage from Calamity Mod Note: Mod Compatibility Fixes must be on to fix some bosses and provide most modded functionality, but it could break certain mods. Expect issues with mods if using this setting. Not every boss can be compatible without targetted fixes so I tried to apply blanket fixes to cover as most as I could, but I can't guarantee perfect compatibility with all mods. If you have a mod that is having compatibility issues, leave a suggestion for it! I may add targetted fixes for it if there's demand to. Radical Customizability - Make It Your Own! The mod comes with many configurations to play around with. Don't like a specific feature? Want to use the portal gun for a specific purpose in your worlds? Just keep your desired features enabled and cut the rest! • This mod is still in its infancy and may contain bugs. If you find one, please report it on YouTube ( @synOptix-YT ) or in the comments here on the Steam Workshop page. • Multiplayer is untested. Random world generation and cross-world travel are disabled in multiplayer. • Back up your worlds and characters before experimenting with this mod as it could cause damage to worlds you care about if you're careless.
