Terra Index is an NEI-style recipe browser for Terraria, plus a storage terminal that finds items across your chests. RECIPE INDEX Press N to open a searchable list of every item in the game, including items from other mods. - Left click an item to see how it is crafted: ingredients, crafting stations and special conditions. - Right click an item to see every recipe that uses it. - Hover any item (inventory, chests, shops) and press [ for its recipes or ] for its uses. - Click ingredients and stations inside a recipe to keep exploring; use Back to return. - Ingredients turn green when you have enough in your inventory, red when you don't. - Items that can't be crafted show where to get them: which NPC sells them, which enemies drop them (with a picture and where they live) and which bags or crates contain them. - Tabs split the items into weapons, tools, armor, accessories, blocks, potions, materials and more. - Type @modname in the search box to filter by mod (for example @terraria or @calamity). - Crafting tree: see everything needed to craft an item, down to the base materials, minus what you already have. - Set any item as your goal and a small on-screen list (movable and foldable) shows the materials you are still missing as you gather them. - Craft straight from your chests near a storage terminal (or anywhere with the Portable Terminal). Crafting stations count if they are near you or connected to the terminal's red wire. Or take out just the ingredients your inventory is missing with one click. - Compare up to 3 weapons, tools, armor or accessories side by side, with the best stats highlighted. STORAGE TERMINAL Buy the Terminal from the Steampunker for 1 platinum and hang it on a background wall. - Connect the terminal and your chests with the same red wire. - Right click the terminal and start typing: the items in all connected chests are filtered as you type. - Click an item to take a stack out (for stackable items it asks how many first): the garage door on the terminal opens and hands it to you. - Shift + click an item and the chests holding it glow for 10 seconds. Chests off screen get an arrow on the edge of the screen showing the direction and distance. - Right click an item in the terminal to open its recipe. - Deposit items: put items in the terminal's slots and, when you close them, they go into the connected chests through its door. If the chests are full you get a warning and the items wait in the terminal until there is room. - Deposit all: sends your whole main inventory into the chests at once (the hotbar, coins, ammo and favorited items stay with you). - Sort the list by name, amount, rarity or mod. PORTABLE TERMINAL Craft it after the Moon Lord (Terminal + 10 Luminite Bars at the Ancient Manipulator). Right click a terminal while holding it to link them, then use it anywhere to open that terminal: items you take out appear right next to you. MULTIPLAYER Fully supported. The server scans the chests and keeps the terminal updated, so you see changes made by other players. Settings (Mod Configuration): goal panel, default sort, highlight time, terminal price and reach, and more. All keys can be rebound in Settings > Controls. Available in English and Spanish.
