Terramate adds an intelligent AI-controlled player companion designed to actually play Terraria alongside you — not just follow and teleport when stuck. → Smart Combat Uses melee, ranged and magic weapons, aims at moving targets, dodges attacks and has specialized strategies for many vanilla bosses. → Advanced Movement Walks, jumps, flies, uses hooks and ropes, escapes caves and pits, navigates difficult terrain and only teleports as a last resort. → Smart Mining Mine marked ores, dig paths, use ropes to reach high resources, build temporary bridges and collect drops without destroying your constructions. → Gambit System Inspired by Final Fantasy XII. Customize priorities such as attacking, healing, following, mining, collecting items and exploring. → Inventory & Equipment The companion has its own weapons, armor, accessories, potions and inventory. → Building Preview structures, check required materials and let your companion build them directly in the world. → Independent AI It can interrupt tasks to fight, heal or breathe underwater, then return to what it was doing. The goal of Terramate is simple: Make single-player Terraria feel like you have another player exploring, fighting, mining and building by your side. ⚠️ Terramate is still in active development and its AI is constantly being improved.
