Graveyard+ The dead are not at rest. And the longer you stay, the less sure you are that you are alone. Graveyard+ turns the Graveyard biome into a place you dread, and gives it three bosses, a night-long event and a set of weapons worth the fear. Atmosphere • Darker, foggier graveyards with ground mist, spirit lights, storms, and distant bells, moans, crying and digging. • A theme of its own that turns darker as your Dread rises. • Graveyard enemies spawn more often, and more at night. Dread Stay in a graveyard and your Dread builds. The higher it gets, the more your mind plays tricks on you: • Footsteps behind you, shadows at the edge of the screen, red eyes in the dark. • Fake enemies, fake damage, fake boss, join and death messages, and whispers in chat. • Your own doppelganger, watching. • At full Dread, something real comes for you. Keep it down with the Spirit Lantern and the Serenity Potion . Graveyard enemies • Grave Crawler , Mourner , Lantern Wisp , Gravedigger (digs under your feet and bursts up), Crow of Ill Omen , Grave Moth , Bone Rat , Veiled Guest • Hardmode: Revenant , Wailing Specter , Gravekeeper • Break a tombstone and it may raise the dead, or leave something behind. Restless Night Linger in a graveyard after dark and the dead rise in waves, one worse than the last, until the Grim Reaper comes for you. Your progress is shown on a bar, and the night has its own music. Bosses • The Undertaker : ring the Funeral Bell at night while standing in a graveyard. He rings a bell for every soul he has laid to rest, and buries you in the earth. • The Bride : once the Undertaker has fallen, lay a Wilted Bouquet at night, in a graveyard, beside a tombstone. She may also come on her own to someone who has stayed too long. She only moves when you are not looking. • The Grim Reaper : the last wave of the Restless Night. It can't be summoned: it only comes in Hardmode, once all three Mechanical Bosses are dead. Each boss has its own treasure bag. Loot • Pallbearer's Spade : a shockwave of earth along the ground that slows enemies. • Knell Staff : marks a circle on the ground, and lightning strikes it a moment later. • Gravedigger's Whistle : summons a spirit gravedigger who throws dirt and bursts up under its target. • Funeral Bell Charm : killing an enemy tolls a bell, and you and nearby allies deal more damage. • Briar Lash : thorns that lower the defense of whatever they hit. • Wilted Rose Staff : three homing rose petals, stronger against enemies that aren't facing you. • Veiled Revolver : every third shot opens a portal behind the enemy and fires into its back. • Reaper's Scythe : steals life, gathers a soul with every kill, and at five souls the blade burns and can unleash a ring of spinning scythes. Configuration Everything can be tuned in the mod configs: • Atmosphere, music, hallucinations, scare intensity and fake chat messages. • Dread build-up speed and spawn rate. • Grave disturbance and the Restless Night, and how long you must stay before it starts. • Photosensitivity mode : removes flashes, light flickering, red pulses and screen shake.
