Xeno's Energy Pack Adds a brand new class: GAUSS . Gauss weapons are railguns. Hold to charge, release to fire a hyper-velocity slug that pierces every enemy in its path, then reload. Some guns fire single heavy shots, some fire bursts, some have magazines, some go full auto, and one locks onto everything on screen. Charge speed and reload speed can be improved with armor, accessories and buffs. Railguns (17) Main progression line • Junkyard Railgun (early pre-Hardmode) - hand-cranked scrap railgun • Magmaline Driver (Hellstone) - molten slugs inflict Hellfire, the barrel glows red-hot • Crystal Shardrail (early Hardmode) - bolt-action, slugs shatter into crystal shards • Iron Tyrant (after the mechanical bosses) - 2-round bursts with a targeting laser • Xeno Gauss Cannon (after Golem / Martian Madness) - floating rail rings, antigravity reload • Stormpiercer (after Moon Lord) - lightning railgun with chain lightning • Voltaire (after Moon Lord) - laser minigun that spins up and overheats • Lockrail Seeker (after Moon Lord) - paint up to 8 targets with lock-on squares, release to fire a homing salvo Special railguns • Ebonspine Needler (Corruption) - pistol, poisons and releases tiny eaters • Ventricle Pulsepistol (Crimson) - heartbeat burst pistol that siphons life • Peddler's Autocoil (Traveling Merchant) - full-auto coilgun with ricocheting slugs • Aetherstream Repeater (shimmer the Crystal Shardrail) - full auto, slugs phase through walls Railwright workshop guns (built from parts) • Rivet Sidearm - semi-auto pistol • Hornet SMG - extremely fast full-auto SMG • Triad Burstrail - 3-round burst bullpup with three stacked rails • Bulwark Autorail (after the mechanical bosses) - heavy machine gun: hold right click to spin up and brace, fire rate ramps up the longer you hold the trigger, drops its ammo box on reload • Longshot Marksman (after Plantera) - single-shot sniper with a laser sight and bolt-action reload Every gun has its own slug, its own projectile trail and its own sound set. The Railwright (new town NPC) A gruff gunsmith who moves in after Skeletron. Sells weapon parts ( Coil Assembly, Compact Frame, Cooling System, Burst Trigger Group, Long Barrel, Capacitor Bank ), rail slugs, Coil Grenades, a Drone Remote and his own work outfit vanity set. Some parts only unlock after the mechanical bosses and Plantera. Armor (9 sets + 1 vanity) • Scrapjack - welder's helmet and scrap plating (early pre-Hardmode) • Duskwarden - a shadowed hood with glowing eyes (after the evil boss) • Sepulcher - bone sallet, ribcage plate and skull pauldrons (after Skeletron) • Hellforge - horned obsidian armor (Hellstone) • Prismatic Vanguard - crystal-crowned armor (early Hardmode) • Dreadnought - crusader great helm, cape and tabard (after the mechanical bosses) • Wraithknight - spectral knight that turns phantom when hit (after Plantera) • Xenoform - glass dome with a black skull inside (after Golem) • Tempest Sovereign - white and gold storm armor that keeps the Voltaire cool (after Moon Lord) • Railwright's work outfit - vanity Every set has its own set bonus, glowmasks and particle effects. Accessories Jury-Rigged Capacitor, Molten Heatsink, Gauss Emblem, Prismatic Focus, Servo Autoloader, Quantum Coil, Overdrive Core Gear and extras • Rail Forge - animated crafting station with a tesla coil • Arc Sentry Kit - summon a railgun turret that tracks and shocks enemies • Coil Grenade - bouncing grenade that explodes into chain lightning • Mag-Rail Grapple - magnetic grappling hook • Thruster Pack - jetpack wings • Spark Drone - light pet • Overclock Cell - railgun buff consumable • Coil Lamp and Gun Rack - furniture • Scrap Drone - new enemy that drops Scrap Metal Custom sprites, glowmasks, animations, particles, screen shake and custom sound effects throughout.
