It is possible to not have a trinket (or only have an undroppable trinket, like The Tick) by the time the player picks up Dad's Note. This mod mitigates that by guaranteeing a random trinket spawns upon entry in the pre-ascent Mausoleum II Treasure Room, if no players have droppable trinkets and there isn't already a trinket spawned in the room. Even with this mod, it's still possible to miss out on unlocking a tainted character: the Treasure Room still requires a key, and the trinket only spawns when the player enters the room for the first time. If the player lacks a way to enter (a bomb and an adjacent Secret Room, Mr. Me!, The Stars card, etc.) or skips the Mausoleum II Treasure Room, the guaranteed spawn doesn't happen. In that case, the only way to unlock the tainted character (without the debug console or other mods) requires either getting a Cracked Key from the right closet in Home (very rare) or getting Red Key from Mom's Chest (rare).
