Making this work in vanilla was quite a challenge and required some extremely hacky workarounds, but it's finally here. Repentogon is NOT required, though it is recommended for a small extra performance gain What does this mod do? The quality of pedestal items now scales with luck across all rooms. By default, every point of luck gives a 0.2% chance to upgrade a pedestal's quality, with higher qualities being rarer, fully configurable through DSS It is fully co-op friendly , automatically calculating and using the combined luck of the entire lobby. It is also fully compatible with other mods which add items or pools Why make this mod? This was built to address the biggest issue with the luck stat: how little impact it actually has on the base game. By giving luck a meaningful effect, this mod aims to make it a stat worth investing in, with balance being the absolute priority It's designed to feel like a natural extension of vanilla, not just a mod you try once for fun and uninstall, but something worth keeping if you enjoy giving the luck stat the relevance it always deserved How it works The upgrade system steps up one quality tier at a time. For example, an item can upgrade from to to and so on until an upgrade fails or the item reaches Quality Rarer qualities are intentionally harder to reach (configurable), keeping high luck strong without trivializing balance High luck doesn't instantly hand you items, it simply gives every pedestal a fair chance to climb while remaining fully compatible with Chaos The Luck Trio Check out my other mods which give Luck the relevance it always deserved: Luck Enhanced Machines Luck Enhanced Beggars
