JUST A FAN MOD Disclaimer: This is a fan made mod and is not officially supported or endorsed by Poltergegeistert. What Does This Mod Do? The mod adds ONLY a custom Poltergegeistert "WE TAKE!" sound effect whenever you pick up supported items. It does not change any item sprites, names, textures, or gameplay mechanics. (don't pay attention to the thumbnail) Volume Configuration If the sound becomes repetitive or you simply want it louder or quieter, you don't have to disable or unsubscribe from the mod. You can simply adjust the volume through the Mod Config Menu by: Pressing L → WE TAKE!!!! → Audio (Requires Config Menu - Impure ) • 0 = Mute | 5 = Loudest • Default volume: 3 Pickup Triggers Configuration Don't want WE TAKE!!! sound effect playing for certain types of pickups? You can selectively disable or enable the sound effect for supported pickup types without disabling or unsubscribing from the mod. You can customize which pickups trigger the sound through the Mod Config Menu by: Pressing L → WE TAKE!!!! → Triggers (Once again requires Config Menu - Impure ) From there, you can toggle the Mod for: • Passive Items • Active Items • Keys • Trinkets • Runes Works With • All collectible pedestal items (Passive and Active), including: - Treasure Room items - Boss items - Devil Deal items - Angel Room items - Most Shop items - Secret Room items And other collectible pedestals • All Keys - Normal Keys - Golden Keys - Charged Keys - Key Rings • All Trinkets • Runes - Left Pointing Runes - Right Pointing Runes and extras. Not Included To avoid the sound playing too frequently, the following pickups are intentionally excluded: • Grab Bags / Black Sacks • Coins • All Bombs / Poop Nuggets • All Hearts (Red, Half Red, Soul, Black, Eternal, Double Hearts, etc.) • All Pills • All Batteries (Lil' Battery, Micro Battery, Mega Battery, Golden Battery) • All Cards: - Major Arcana Cards - Reversed Major Arcana Cards - Playing Cards - Magic: The Gathering Cards Version 2.1 Added Feature • Added Triggers settings, allowing you to enable or disable the Mod sound effect for supported pickup types: - Passive Items - Active Items - Keys - Trinkets - Runes. Version 2.0 FIXED BUGS • Fixed a bug where touching chests and other chest variants incorrectly triggered the sound effect. • Fixed shop items triggering the sound effect when the player could not afford them. I'm not sure if i'll be adding support for every single type of item. I feel like the current pickup selection is good enough.
