Have you struggled in the past to get your runs going? Is your life about more than just wasting hours away in Isaac? Do you happen to have a job that requires attending to? Worry not! The answer to all those questions is simple: Patience! Introducing Patience, a Quality 3 passive treasure item that does the following: Stand completely still for a few minutes to gain a permanent stat increase. Each minute interval grants another increase. Stat increases are proportional to your current stat total. The idea behind the item was to model the practice of patience itself: a self-imposed choice to do nothing, to simply wait actively. Visually speaking, I was bored at work and came up with a makeshift hourglass, somewhat beaten up and shoddy, an artifact of wood and wire made painfully by hand. Not sure why that image came to mind when thinking of patience, but you could ask your ai of choice if curious enough lmao. There are probably a few bugs here and there and balancing to improve, so feel free to give feedback ideas and whatnot. Other than that, this is my first mod of this kind, so... have you some patience should you decide to give it a try.
