Isaac QoL Kit Version 0.5 - BETA A handful of quality-of-life improvements, all optional, all in Mod Config Menu. Spinoff of my other mod, Enemy Drop Loot V2, which had grown into two mods glued together. The drop engine stayed there; the loadout/convenience side lives here. Requires: Mod Config Menu Pure REPENTOGON: optional (improves unlock filtering). Works fine without it. Safe to run alongside Enemy Drop Loot V2: the Starting Trinket Picker, Gulp keybind, Active to Pocket and Easy Greed features moved here for good, nothing left over there to duplicate them. --- LOADOUT --- - Starting Trinket Picker: each character lays out a curated row of trinkets on the ground at run start, pick one. Jacob & Esau and Tainted Lazarus each get their own row; Tainted Eden rerolls hers on every hit. - Gulp Innate Trinket: swallows the character's built-in trinket at run start, keeping its effect but freeing the trinket slot. - Active to Pocket Active: moves your starting active item into the pocket slot. - Gulp keybind: swallow the trinkets you're currently holding, with a configurable key and location (anywhere / starting room every floor / starting room once per run). --- BONUS (free stuff at run start, off by default) --- - Starting Blessing: pick 1 of 23 items (Birthright, PHD, More Options, Chaos, Sacred Orb...) or Random, and every run starts with it. - Starting Item: 1 hand-picked item per character (34 of them, Eden and Tainted Eden left out on purpose). Actives spawn on the floor so you don't lose your own. With REPENTOGON you can skip items you haven't unlocked yet. - Starting Pocket Item: a random active spawns in the starting room (needs Active to Pocket on). --- CHARACTER FIXES --- - Holy Mantle for Lost Jacob: Tainted Jacob keeps his Holy Mantle effect while in the Lost form (the form that's normally one-hit-kill). - Rainbow Poop Mantle: destroying a rainbow poop gives Tainted Lost a Holy Card charge. - Tainted Cain Push Mode: keybind to shove a pickup away instead of absorbing it (T.Cain absorbs pickups on touch by default; this lets you choose). - Lost Bed Mantle: as The Lost or Tainted Lost, touch a bed and get a Holy Card efect. If Tainted Lost already has his shield up he gets nothing extra (it doesn't stack). --- GREED MODE --- - Half-Price Shop (Greed/Greedier): starts a Greed run with the Steam Sale item, so the shop is half price from the start. - Half-Price Shop (Normal/Hard): the same Steam Sale grant, but for regular runs outside Greed Mode. Separate toggle, off by default since it changes economy. - Easy Greed/Greedier: starts with a Counterfeit Penny (grants a Gulp pill when you pick it up). In Greedier it's offered as a choice in the trinket row (Money vs. Comfort), not a free grant. --- MACHINES & PROPS --- - No Jam: a jammed Shop or Greed donation machine is fixed when you leave and re-enter the room. - Faster Eternal Chest: the Eternal Chest stops making you wait to open it. - Instant Fires & Poops: in a cleared room, regular fireplaces and poops die on the first hit instead of taking multiple. --- ROOM MECHANICS --- - Bombable Devil Statue: bomb the statue in a Devil Room, the deal items disappear and a Fallen Angel spawns in their place. Kill it for a free item. One per floor, and it won't work if you already took a deal in that room. - Angel Drop Item: kill Uriel or Gabriel again while already holding both Key Pieces (Angel Room, Sacrifice Room, or Error Room) - drops a free item. Always by default; turn off "Always Drops" to make it a 10-50% chance. In Greed/Greedier, Key Pieces turn into Angel Room items instead. - Auto-Collect Pickups: in a cleared room, loose coins and keys drift toward you. Off by default. --- CREDITS --- Several features here are ports of third-party mods, reimplemented keeping the original behavior intact (with a real bug fixed in each port along the way - see patch notes below for details).
