Breath of Life features a large number of vanilla plus mechanics that improve the feel of the base game in an unobtrusive manner. These are mostly "quality of life" features, and (almost) all of them are fully configurable! Mod Features All of the changes and additions detailed below have been documented on the official Absolution Wiki, which can be found here . Please note that not all tweaks have been included in the following synopsis. Bosses and Enemies • The Stompy transformation (or similar rock-breaking effect) can be used to destroy Stoneys. • Grimaces and Spike Blocks are automatically destroyed after clearing a room they are in. • Enemies that are naturally on fire (such as Grilled Clotties) now slowly lose health. • Delirium now drops an Eden's Blessing if the Void floor was entered through the portal spawned after defeating Hush. • Defeating Mother will now spawn a trapdoor and light beam, allowing the run to be continued. Items and Trinkets • Empty item pedestals no longer have collision. • Breakfasting is now fully prevented! • Crow Heart now prevents Deal chance from being penalized if Isaac has Soul Hearts. • Both Forget Me Now and R Key have a 5 second delay before their effects activate. • GiantBook animations can now be forcefully skipped. Floors and Rooms • The base chance to spawn a Planetarium has been increased to 5%, and a text pop-up will appear when one has spawned on the floor. • The first door leading to the alt. path is unlocked automatically. • Empty shops have a chance to spawn a restock machine. • Black Markets, I AM ERROR Rooms, and Genesis will spawn both a trapdoor and light beam on Womb II. • Flight will prevent damage from Curse Room doors (both ways). Pickups • Picking up a Golden Bomb or Key while already holding one will add an appropriate pickup to Isaac's total. • Batteries can now overcharge primary active items instead of wasting charge. • Stone Chests and Moveable TNT barrels have less friction. This mod is just one small part of the Absolution Overhaul project, and more releases are right around the corner.
