The Doctor Beggar asks for cash (medical school is expensive after all), and has a chance to drop hearts, pills and pill/syringe related items and trinkets. It has a chance to replace other beggars when they spawn but will only replace up to one beggar per floor. This mod also comes with the Script Pad trinket, which can be dropped by the Doctor Beggar and causes shopkeepers to give you free pills when you enter a shop. You can adjust the doctor beggars spawn rate using the Mod Config Menu . Design and Sprites by Shunkerson. There is a 35% chance to pay out a prize when paid. There's a 45% chance for the prize to be health. (If you have empty red/bone hearts it will heal you 1 heart, if you have no red heart space it will spawn a random heart instead) There's a 35% chance for the prize to be a pill. There's a 10% chance for the prize to be a trinket (see pool below). And there's a 10% chance for the prize to be an item (see pool below). The beggar disappears after giving you an item or trinket. But if the player has any broken hearts then the chances are adjusted. There's a 15% chance of fixing a broken heart. The chance for hearts is reduced to 35%. And the chance for pills is reduced to 30%.
