【中文】 忏悔版本的拟态箱子长得和普通箱子一模一样——这正是它存在的意义，也正是它弄死你的方式。这个 mod 给它一张脸：冷色调、贴合轮廓的发光描边、愤怒的红眼和一排獠牙。 它不改变箱子的任何行为。同样的房间、同样的掉落、同样的伤害。只是那层伪装没了。 所有效果都在运行时绘制在拟态箱子自己的精灵之上，没有覆盖任何原版贴图文件。因此它不会和其他图形 mod 冲突，普通箱子也完全不受影响。 特性 - 怒眼 + 獠牙叠加层，一眼就能看出是怪物而不是箱子 - 发光描边完全跟随箱子的实际轮廓 - 轻微冷色调整，木箱原本的细节依然清晰 - 每一层都可以在 main.lua 里单独关闭 使用方法 订阅，在 Mods 菜单里启用，完成。 调参 打开 main.lua，修改顶部的 CONFIG 表（眼睛/獠牙的大小、位置、颜色）。游戏内用控制台命令 "luamod mimic_chest_highlighter" 热重载。 兼容性 - 可与图形类 mod 共存：没有覆盖原版资源树中的任何文件。 - 轻量：只注册两个回调，每帧无额外分配。 注意：中途加入已有存档是安全的，但和任何 mod 一样，除非你另有设置，启用 mod 期间成就会被禁用。 ======================================== 【English】 Mimic chests in Repentance look exactly like ordinary chests - that is the whole point of them, and it is also how they kill you. This mod gives them a face: a cold tint, a crisp glowing outline that follows the chest silhouette, angry red eyes and a row of fangs. It changes nothing about the chest's behaviour. Same rooms, same rewards, same damage. Only the disguise is gone. Everything is drawn at runtime on top of the mimic's own sprite, so no vanilla texture is modified. That means it cannot break other graphics mods, and normal chests stay untouched. Features - Angry eyes + fangs overlay, so a mimic reads as a monster at a glance - Glowing outline that follows the exact chest silhouette - Subtle cold tint that keeps the wooden chest art readable - Every layer can be turned off in main.lua How to use Subscribe, enable it in the Mods menu, done. Tuning Open main.lua and edit the CONFIG table near the top (eye/teeth size, position, colours). Reload in game with the console command "luamod mimic_chest_highlighter". Compatibility - Works alongside graphics mods: nothing in the vanilla resource tree is overwritten. - Lightweight: two callbacks only, no per-frame allocations. Note: adding the mod to an existing run is safe, but as with any mod, achievements stay disabled while mods are active unless you have them enabled separately.
