The Architect A 2-player PvP mode for Repentance+. One player is Isaac . The other is the Architect - Mom herself. She builds every floor and fights Isaac with her own hand. Each player plays from their own copy of the game, over the network. How a floor goes • Planning (60-180 s, set in the lobby). The Architect draws the floor map, sets the room types, picks the boss and the curses, fills rooms with monsters and champions, or builds trap rooms. Each floor has a budget of points. Upgrade points go to the skills of Mom's hand. • Meanwhile Isaac fights waves in an arena . Each cleared wave gives arena points. After the arena, Isaac spends them in a shop: pickups, hearts, trinkets, a heart container or an item. • Fight . Isaac plays the floor that the Architect built. The Architect watches the run live and attacks with Mom's hand . • Isaac dies - the Architect wins. Isaac finishes the run - Isaac wins. Mom's hand The hand has a pool of points for each floor. Isaac always sees the shadow of the hand before it hits. • LMB (hold) - snatch a monster, then drop it or throw it on Isaac (stun) • RMB (hold) - carry a monster to a new place • 1 slam · 2 sacrifice a monster (burst of tears and creep) · 3 shield a monster · 4 shake the room (falling rocks) • 5 ambush - steal the reward of the room (once per floor) • Q - possess the boss and control it yourself Requirements (both players) • REPENTOGON - install it with the REPENTOGON launcher. • Network access for Lua : in the REPENTOGON launcher, tick "Enable system functions in the Lua API" (or add --luadebug to the Steam launch options of Isaac). The mod uses it only to connect the two players. Turn it off again when you play with other mods that you do not trust. Network The mod connects the two players over a local network (LAN) . To play online, use a third-party program that puts both computers into one virtual local network, then connect with the address from that program. How to start • In the main menu, press Down past OPTIONS to the ARCHITECT card (or press L). • Isaac: Host a lobby . Select the character, difficulty, planning time and seed. Press C to copy your address and send it to your friend. • Architect: Join , paste the address (Ctrl+V), press Enter. • Both players press Ready . by гнилой гоф & gabeb
