Cheat Menu A cheat menu that looks like it belongs in the game. Press Insert during a run (or click the left stick on a controller) and a paper menu drops in, just like the pause screen. It's handy for trying out item combos, practising bosses or just messing around, without typing console commands every time. It doesn't use the console at all, so it won't lock achievements for your run either. Toggles These stay on between runs. • God mode and one-hit kills • Flight, spectral + piercing tears and strong homing tears • Infinite active charge, plus coins, bombs and keys that never run out • Always see the full map • Only good pills (works like PHD) • A guaranteed devil room or angel room after every boss Stats Turn damage, tears, speed, range, shot speed or luck up or down. The menu shows your current value next to each one, and the bonuses reset when you start a new run. Items Browse every item, trinket and card with its icon. Type to search by name or ID, or filter items by quality and type, then take it or drop it on a pedestal. Modded items show up too. You can also grab a random item from the room's pool, reroll pedestals, or spawn golden trinkets. Health, pickups, room & floor Full heal, extra hearts of every kind, coins, bombs and keys. Kill everything in the room, open every door, reveal the map, clear curses, drop a trapdoor, or teleport straight to the boss room, treasure room, shop, secret rooms, devil or angel room, I AM ERROR room and more. Controls Keyboard: Insert opens it, the arrow keys move around and change values (hold Shift to change them by 10), Enter picks, Backspace goes back. In the item browser, just start typing to search. Controller: L3 opens it, the D-pad or left stick moves around, LB and RB change values by 10, A picks, B goes back. You can't move or shoot while the menu is open, but the game doesn't pause, so maybe turn on god mode before you go shopping in the middle of a fight. REPENTOGON You don't need it, but if you have it you get a few extras: a Cheat Menu window in REPENTOGON's overlay that you can use with the mouse, proper item names in your game's language, and the menu stays out of the way while you type in the console. Good to know • Needs Repentance or Repentance+. • In co-op, healing and giving items go to player 1. • God mode also blocks the "damage" from blood donation machines, IV Bag and sacrifice room spikes, so those won't pay out while it's on. • Want different keys? Change TOGGLE_KEY or TOGGLE_BUTTON at the top of main.lua.
