Make the whole game run faster: you, enemies, tears, projectiles and timers all speed up together, so the game plays exactly the same, just shorter. Pure Lua, no external tools needed. Requires Repentance or Repentance+ (not Afterbirth+). Speed rules - Cleared room (exploring, shops, treasure rooms): x1.30 by default. Rooms that still have traps (spike blocks, stone shooters, red or purple fires, troll bombs, on/off spikes...) or new enemies (spiders from a pot...) use the Combat speed instead. - Boss fight (boss, miniboss, Boss Rush, and any room while a boss is alive, like boss challenge rooms): x1.20 by default - Combat (everything else): x1.20 by default - Optional Learn per room (off by default): every room layout remembers its own speed across runs, +0.05 each time you clear it without getting hit, -0.10 when you get hit. How to adjust - Press \ in game to open the Speedup panel: Up/Down select, Left/Right adjust (hold to keep changing; step 0.05, range x1.00 ~ x3.00), Esc or \ to close. Shooting is paused while it is open; you can still walk. - Quick keys: ] / [ speed up / slow down the rule active right now. - Also available in Mod Config Menu Pure if installed (optional). - Faster music / sound effects can be turned on in the panel (off by default; faster audio also means higher pitch). - A Real time clock next to the minimap shows how long the run really took (pauses excluded, kept when you exit and continue). Can be turned off in the panel. - Settings are saved. Note: the in-game clock counts game time, so Boss Rush / Hush time limits still apply, just in sped-up time. Room transitions are not sped up. Active Cam makes the camera wobble in big rooms while sped up, so the mod turns it off once, on your first run with it (with a message). You can turn it back on in Options and it stays on.
