Requisitos • The Binding of Isaac: Repentance o Repentance+ • External Item Descriptions • Windows (no funciona en Mac, Linux ni Steam Deck) • Python (si no lo tienes, el mod te ofrece instalarlo) • Una API key de Google Gemini (gratis, ver abajo) • Conexión a internet Instalación • Suscríbete a este mod y a External Item Descriptions. • Abre el juego una vez hasta el menú principal y ciérralo (así el juego copia el mod a su carpeta). • En Steam: clic derecho a The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth → Propiedades → General → Opciones de lanzamiento , y pega: "mods\ia_item_advisor_3830662417\IA\IA Item Advisor.bat" %command% • Abre el juego desde Steam. Se abrirá una ventana negra (el acompañante que habla con la IA); se cierra sola al salir del juego. • Si no tienes Python, esa ventana te preguntará si quieres instalarlo. Recomendamos ["DisplayMode"] = "local", o ajústalo a tu gusto. • Idioma: se usa el de EID para las recomendaciones. Los textos fijos del mod están en español e inglés. • Filtro: con el Filtro activado el texto se ve borroso. Para verlo nítido: Opciones → Filtro: desactivado . Un secreto Hay una sorpresa para quien llegue al final de la historia. Al vencer a The Beast se revela la identidad del narrador. Desde la siguiente partida, la forma en que te habla la IA cambia automáticamente, y puedes elegir cómo te narra en F9. Problemas comunes "Windows no puede encontrar el archivo mods\ia_item_advisor_3830662417\..." Quita la línea, abre el juego una vez, ciérralo y vuelve a ponerla. No aparecen recomendaciones Revisa que la ventana negra esté abierta y que hayas puesto tu API key con F9. Privacidad • A Google solo se envía información de la partida (objetos, personaje, vida, monedas y lo que llevas). • Tu API key se guarda en el Administrador de credenciales de Windows . • Nada se instala sin tu permiso ni se abre solo con Windows. A black window opens (the companion that talks to the AI); it closes by itself when you quit. • If you don't have Python, that window will ask whether to install it. Answer Y (Yes). • In a room with no enemies, press F9 and paste your API key with Ctrl+V . How to get your Google API key (free) • Go to Google AI Studio with your Google account. • In the left menu, open API keys . • At the top right, click Create API key . • Give it any name (for example "Isaac"), keep the project shown and click Create key . • Copy it with the copy icon and paste it in the game with F9 → Ctrl+V . Don't share your key with anyone : it's personal, like a password. Google's free tier has usage limits. If you run out, the mod tells you in-game. Controls • F9 : mod options and API key (in a room with no enemies) • F7 : ask again if Google is slow to answer Tips • EID mode: the advice is drawn next to EID's description. We recommend ["DisplayMode"] = "local", or adjust it to your liking. • Language: EID's language is used for the recommendations. The mod's fixed texts are in Spanish and English. • Filter: with Filter on, the text looks blurry. For sharp text: Options → Filter: off . A secret There's a surprise for those who reach the end of the story. After defeating The Beast, the narrator's identity is revealed. From the next run on, the way the AI talks to you changes automatically, and you can choose how it narrates in F9. Common problems "Windows cannot find mods\ia_item_advisor_3830662417\..." Remove the line, launch the game once, close it and add it again. No recommendations show up Check that the black window is open and that you entered your API key with F9. Privacy • Only run information is sent to Google (items, character, health, coins and what you carry). • Your API key is stored in the Windows Credential Manager . • Nothing is installed without your permission or starts with Windows. Notes • Doesn't work in online games (the game disables mods there). • Works with or without REPENTOGON. • Afterbirth+ is not supported yet. • The AI can be wrong sometimes: take it as advice, not a rule.
