The Paraclete A new character for The Binding of Isaac: Repentance+ built around the seven Gifts of the Holy Spirit. Requires REPENTOGON. The Confessed You start with one random Gift and the active item Holy Spirit. Clearing rooms fills your Tongues of Fire counter; when it is full, you choose between a new Gift (or a refill for Holy Spirit) and a smaller blessing. Clear rooms without getting hit to build up Contrition and gain damage. The seven Gifts • Wisdom : more damage, reveals the map and special rooms. • Understanding : reveals secret rooms, shows enemy health, and bosses take extra damage. • Counsel : more tears, and an arrow next to the minimap pointing to the Angel room, Treasure room or boss. • Strength : a Soul Heart, immunity to spikes and fire, and a cry of faith that scares enemies when you are hit. • Science : more luck, and identifies pills. • Piety : heals you as you clear rooms. • Fear of God : your tears can terrify enemies, which then take extra damage. The Anointed Collect 3 different Gifts to become Anointed I: permanent flight. Collect all 7 for Anointed II: Holy Spirit gains 3 charges. Holy Spirit grants temporary flight and heavenly tears, which become homing with 5 or more Gifts. And more • The first Devil or Angel deal of every run is always an Angel deal. • Birthright: blue tongues of fire that shoot where you shoot. • 3 new items: Sanctuary Lamp, Vesper Bell and Cilice, usable by any character. • 3 new trinkets: Worn-Out Rosary, Holy Ashes and Tithe Coin. • Book of Virtues wisps for the new actives. • Unlockable through the game's own achievements. • Greed and Greedier mode support, and co-op support. • EID descriptions in English and Spanish.
