Ever wanted to play around with Town Events mods that modify vanilla events such as "From Beyond" or even overhauls that change or remove "Idle Hero gains Resolve Level" without overwriting the other? Have no fear, this mod separates the non-DLC base game's town events into different files, similar to Moon/Slime's Trinket Separator Mod but for Town Events. It completely makes the base.town_events.events file blank while moving the events into separate files with the names appropriately. free_activies.town_events This is where "Town Fair", "All Saints Day" and "Caregivers Convention" and other events are. provisions.town_events This is for "Bumper Crop", "Supply Run" and even "Lost Shipment" affecting the provisions screen. hero_idlexp.town_events This is where all "Idle Resolve XP" (i.e "Archery Tournament" and "A Gibbous Moon") resides. hero_recruits.town_events Has all of the recruitment of 2 same hero class events ("Call of the Crusade", "Wyrd Council" and "Leper Colony" etc). from_beyond.town_events Obviously the name of the Hero Revival event. Note This doesn't have the DLCs events, however i do have plans to include Color of Madness as a separate mod but i'm not even sure on Crimson Court though since it doesn't have much events affecting the game aside from "Town is Abuzz" compared to CoM's town events having more interactions with the main game. It should work even with or without any of the DLCs enabled. Unfortunately the Shrieker event where you must retrieve 8 of your lost trinkets is hard coded sadly. Compatibility This mod is not compatible with Event Mods that modify the "base.town_events.events.json" But it should be compatible with overhauls such as Courtyard+, Farmstead+ and Sunward Isles. And it works fine with mods that disables or modifies the Butcher's Circus DLC Events since it's already a separate file. Installation and Uninstalling This should obviously be below Compatible Town Event Mods due to it's nature and modifying the base event files, otherwise putting it above will overwrite them. It should also be safe to uninstall as long your not in a Town Event (Unless Modded that doesn't modify the main game's events or in a DLC event) currently. For Modders If you want to modify and use these files, find it in your Steam folder (depending where you put it) and find steamapps\workshop\content\262060\3417620656 All the Town Events are in "campaign\town_events" inside the folder You'll need a text editor like Notepad++ to easily modify json files.
