This mod that enables to play their music in modded dungeons, without overwriting. I packaged the .bank file myself, consequently, some tracks differ in their playback algorithm from what was in the original mod. In some locations changed\add music to suit my taste. In some cases, the music was chosen in another mod. Namely: Pet Cemetery Changed - Music from DD2 - Coven Mountain Adding - Music from DD2 - Beastman Manor Adding - Many Fall In The Face Of Chaos by Dutonic I also made a separate module for bosses music . COMPATIBILITY Vermintide Mod The Sunward Isles Sunward Expansion: The Night Parade NKCC: The Festival of Light and Death Singleplayer Butcher's Circus Lite and Full The Ringmaster Bossfight Mountain by Grim Reaper Pet Cemetery Farmstead Plus Darkest Dungeon Plus Revived Manor The Fiend Festival Tangle I will keep an eye on the mods and add more! NOT NECESSARY TO SUBSCRIBE TO ALL LISTED MODS INSTALLATION Put this mod above all others Some mods require integration into quests in order to define specific torch_parameters. Accordingly, if you want this mod to work correctly with the mods from this list, you should install patches for them: For Pet Cemetery For The Sunward Isles For Sunward Expansion: The Night Parade For NKCC: The Festival of Light and Death For Mountain For Manor For Vermintide If you don't do this, the game won’t play the music correctly. KNOWN BUGS It's worth mentioning that it won't work with already generated quests! I would actually recommend starting a new game altogether. If you try to test any other mod with this mod using .vbs scripts, it mod will not work correctly. If some mod overwrites the .art file of a monster that has its own music, then the monster's music will not play. Instead, the dungeons music will play. Explanations of some game engine bugs If you suddenly hear the Butcher Boulevard theme playing in inappropriate dungeons, it's most likely a mod conflict, and something is overwriting the quests from my patches. This theme might also unexpectedly play and layer over everything else after certain interactions between mod characters and other characters. This means that something isn't properly defined for that character. I'm not very well-versed in this part of Darkest Dungeon's coding, so I can't say exactly what causes this. BUT THESE TWO CASES ARE NOT BUGS OF THIS MOD! The Butcher Boulevard theme plays because it's placed first in the .bank. That in itself is not directly a mod error. "after" doesn't mean "consequently" - that's the golden rule. A MESSAGE TO THE COMMUNITY! If you are a composer capable of writing music in the style of DD and want to do some "sweet charity" work, I need someone to write compositions for bosses (plot, roaming, modded). Then you're most welcome – your tracks, my implementation. You could say it would be a kind of advertisement for you. Maybe out of great love for this wonderful game, you'll feel inspired to write a track. I don't know what I'm hoping for, myself. In short, write to me on Steam, we'll discuss.
