Virtue & Affliction Inventory UI MAJOR UPDATE Version 2.0 looks identical, but the implementation is far cleaner and no longer needs any patches. The game actually mirrors a single image, and with some calculations I was able to composite both panels into one file that the game stitches automatically. There’s no more assembling the backpack or other UI elements. Everything is now a single image. It’s fully compatible with any UI mod that uses the vanilla panel, plus The Butcher Circus when accessed through the single‑player campaign. Why I made this mod On dungeon raids we get mirrored images of a skeleton statue on both sides the bottom menu. While serviceable, this served as a constant reminder of how much assets are recycled in the game, and to me, it was a missed opportunity. In the manner of games like Diablo, that show Angels and Demons on each side of their menu, I felt the same approach would be appropriate for Darkest Dungeon since this game offers the duality of virtue and affliction. The vanilla skeleton already represents Death & Affliction as seen by the stress symbol that crowns it. Its opposite would be a new illustration symbolizing Life & Virtue handcrafted by yours truly. Installation. Can be loaded low in the load order as it only tweaks vanilla assets. Compatibility. Compatible with everything INCLUDING mods that alter the backpack menu, number of trinkets, additional provisions, bigger inventory, etc. Patches are no longer needed The mod now works out of the box with: • Yet Another Inventory Screen • Another Provision Screen • 2×12 Backpack "2×12 Inventory" • Inventory Expansion • 7 Skills equipable • Expanded Inventory patch (balanced or cheat versions) • Vanilla Adjustmints: Character UI • Etc.
