A kind and gentle soul, the Pureheart selflessly supports her team with powerful healing and stress relief, if only she were more cautious about her own well being. Virtuous to the core, she will always put others before herself when pushed to the brink, to a troubling degree. =====Overview===== Based on Falin from the Manga and Anime Dungeon Meshi, the Pureheart is powerful support with great utility, but can easily become overstressed and a unique "Virtue" makes her difficult to control and even harder to keep safe. The Selfless virtue greatly lowers deathblow resist, guardbreaks her, makes her refuse all healing and buffs, and has a very high chance to act out, forcing a random action, forward move, or self mark. There is a chance that she will also increase her own stress instead of acting out, which may work out in your favor as reaching 200 stress will remove the Virtued effect. Her natural Deathblow resist is 50% and she deals extra stress to the party on death, so make sure you protect her. Brings 6 stacks of the unique Raspberry item as provisions, which reduces stress by 2 on use. She also has a chance to find a small amount of Raspberries when investigating curios. On Crit, she gains -33% stress for 3 rounds. She is Religious and uses the Athenaeum. Her camping skills provide extremely powerful healing and defensive buffs for allies or stress relief for self. =====Combat Skills===== Contrition XOOO | OOXX Basic melee attack, deals bonus damage to Unholy. -10% stress for 3 rounds. +8% crit chance while Virtued. Spirit Pull OOOX | XOOO Deals low damage, stun, pull forward by 1, and increase damage received. +10% stress for 8 rounds. +10% crit chance while Virtued. Gentle Exorcism OOXX OOOO Stress heal an ally and cure Stunned, Horror, Marked, and Debuffs and increase virtue chance for 3 rounds. +20% stress for 8 rounds. Soothing Heal OOXX OOOO Heal an ally and cure Bleed and Blight with a 50% chance to also heal a small amount of stress. When self cast, healing is reduced by -25% and receive no stress healing. +10% stress for 8 rounds. Calming Presence OOOO O-O-O-O Stress heal all allies with a 66% chance to heal even more stress, but receive no stress healing yourself. Mark Self and increase crits received by 8%. Mystic Barrier OOOO O-O-O-O Guard all allies for 1 round and gain a blocks and a prot bonus while guarding, but guardbreak on self for 3 rounds and +20% stress for 8 rounds. 3 round Cooldown. Blessed Bash XXOO | OOXX Deal 50% damage, but heal all allies and yourself on hit. Deals bonus damage vs Unholy. +20% stress for 8 rounds. +8% crit chance while Virtued. =====Camping Skills===== Healer's Kindness Cost: 4 Restore 15% of the party's HP, remove bleed, Blight and Mortality Debuffs. Spirit Medium Cost: 3 Speak with one of the local ghosts, preventing nighttime ambush and reducing the Pureheart's stress taken by 15% and an additional 15% vs Unholy. Entomology Cost: 2 Admire the local fauna, reducing stress by 15 and gaining multiple bonuses against the Maggot enemy. Has a 5% chance to reduce an allies stress by 30, due to being so charmed by her quirks. Maybe I'll do that later as an optional patch. The virtue gimmick was by far the hardest part of this to get working from a design standpoint, let me know if the balance is still off. This one uses a lot more custom sounds than usual, let me know if any are too loud or quiet, I have mild tinnitus irl so it might be a little off. Gentle Exorcism was originally going to be a her stun ability, but for several reasons was changed to the current version. Calming Presence was originally going to be "Dog Impression, But Cute" which is why its effects basically an inverted version of her brother's skill. That might also be an optional patch later. Chimeralin boss fight coming Soon(tm), but something will probably distract me, like that Meshi curio art replacer idea I had or the Timesplitters tribute I was thinking about. Expect a Hakumei & Mikochi mod soon for real tho. At least 2 or 3 more Meshi characters after this and a couple monster mods, will pick up the speed on them once we get some Season 2 news. Had to fill in a few blanks in her dialogue with Yor Forger quotes, mainly because they have the same JP VA. Talking about shipping is like talking about Politics and Religion, so I didn't include any of it in this mod, aside from a reference to "The Thouden Sandwich" which counts as neutral ground.
