Highlander Challenge This mod provides quality-of-life changes for the “Highlander Challenge,” a playstyle where you can only use one of each hero class. All DLCs are required, including the recently released Fire's Edge. Changes • One hero from every non-DLC class will appear in the first Stagecoach. • No additional heroes will appear in the Stagecoach afterward. • DLC heroes can each be recruited only once through their unique Town Events, and those events will not occur again afterward. • The number of hero deaths required for the “From Beyond” event has been reduced from 3 → 1. • Heroes may re-enter the Darkest Dungeon regardless of difficulty, but they will gain 80 Stress upon entering. Compatibility • This mod is not compatible with modded hero classes. • Only the base-game heroes will appear in the first Stagecoach, and afterward you will only be able to recruit heroes that appear through events. • If you want to use modded hero classes, I recommend disabling this mod after the first week. • This mod may conflict with other mods that modify quests or the Stagecoach.
