First off, I want to thank every single person involved in this project, we have made something great and I’m eager to finally share it with the rest of you. This project was very difficult and demanding of me. Without getting too personal, real life me had me frequently step away for weeks at a time. Regardless, I am unbelievably proud of the work we created, despite how hopeless I often felt about its completion. We made it, and I’m so tired, but will be around to fix problems for a short while. We hope you’ll love the Windstrider as much as we loved pouring our hearts out for her. Introduction "Seek the destruction of the Ego, whatever that means." The step to enlightenment is barred only by the "self". This is the very principle that shapes those who undergo the path of the Windstrider. These warriors wield the elemental desert winds with grace, and travel great distances in their spiritual pursuit of purging their ego, so that nothing save the Universe itself remains. A most daunting task for a young, uncouth and former thief, who found themselves on the wrong end of a robbery attempt. But rather than turning her in, her now master brought her to the temple, and thus sprang a new chapter in Cobalt's life. Though no matter how much she excelled in her training, she can never truly rid herself of her worst urges without undergoing the same transformative journey so many of her kin have. The Hamlet would be one of many stops in this would-be adventure, but rumors of a particularly wealthy and influential noble has... encouraged her to seek out this "Manor", if only for divine inspiration of course. The Windstrider is an aggressive frontline support hero, combining great movement with utility and dodge. She can dance through the battleranks, helping her allies and denying her enemies the same advantages. While lacking the firepower of other bruisers, she makes up for it by being able to buff her allies thanks to her Momentum mechanic. Momentum When the Windstrider uses an ability, she gains Momentum. Her next ability while in this state gains different and stronger effects, but resets her Momentum back. A small indicator shows in which mode she's currently in. Moment is reset upon the start of next combat.
