This patch only works for games set up in English as I have not made localization files to other languages. If you play DD1 in any other language than English you will run into several bugs and be on your own. Localization patches for this Re:balance are welcome. Description —Re:Balance A series of modded Hero patches for players that wish to have hero stats closer to vanilla or simply want a harder challenge in game. Most of these series will be stat nerfs, edits and English localization tweaks. NOTE: The Mesmer was one of the first Re:balance patches I created in early 2025 along the Lilith and several more, for personal use. I've decided to share these in case anyone is interested. Documentation for this patch might be poor as I might not remember all the changes I created back in 2025. I apologize for the inconvenience. Load order • This mod • Re:Balance - Lilith • The Mesmer Class For Vanilla. Please drop them a like! • Lilith class. Please drop them a like! The Mesmer For starters I must state this rebalance nerfs The Mesmer greatly. Those that have played the Original Mesmer Class For Vanilla should notice the changes right away. If you're walking to this Re:balance patch without ever playing The original mod before, the text bellow will do little to explain what was reworked. This class is very complex and even after the nerfs the Mesmer is fairly versatile. The Mesmer can fit a few roles depending on how you set her skills and what trinkets you give her. This patch reworks a lot of her features with the aim to tone down how well she does each role and her burst capabilities. Her bleed, self heal and "Well of Calamity" got nerfed substantially. The Mesmer is a very complex class compared to most DD Heroes out there. I'll be doing a small introduction to her and post a few Mesmer skill set ups for beginners. The Mesmer has a "Mirror" system. Many of her abilities grant her mirrors, mirrors are consumed to power up some of her skills and her current stats. She can hold up to 3 mirrors at the time and the player can check her current mirror count by looking at how many crystals her combat sprite is holding .Some skills can be used with no Mirrors at lowered efficiency. Each Mirror grants her flat +33 dodge, every successful dodge removes 1 Mirror. She also has a "Signet" system, Trinkets that can be activated to give her an additional ability every few turns. In order to use a Signed the player must equip a Signet Trinket and the "Activate Signed" skill . Here's a few basic skill set ups for beginners trying to figure out this class: • Frontline DPS: Mind Slash, Well of Calamity, Mirror Images, Gravity Well, Ether Feast/Well of Eternity. • Backline DPS: Spatial Surge, Ether Bolt, Well of Calamity, Mirror Images, Time Warp/Mind Wrack/Well of Eternity. • Frontline Support: Mind Slash, Well of Eternity, Ether Feast, Mirror Images, whatever you want from Skill7 to Skill13. Healing trinkets recommended for decent healing outputs. Stats: (ORIGINAL VALUE) → (NEW VALUE) resistances: .stun 40% .poison 60%→30% .bleed 60%→30% .disease 100%→300% .move 10% .debuff 70%→40% .death_blow 67% .trap 30% NOTE: Disease res raised to 300% as the original mod description states. Most of Deovolente's Heroes don't mix well with added diseases. • lv0: DMG 4-5, CRIT 3%, SPD 5→4, DODGE 10→2, PROT 0%, HP 26→24. • lv6: DMG 6-8→6-9, CRIT 7%, SPD 7→6, DODGE 30→10, PROT 0%, HP 50→48.
