模组简介
DDX: Darkest Dungeon Extender DDX extends Darkest Dungeon's engine with features that ordinary mod data cannot provide. It supplies shared combat, inventory, interface and save-data services for mods such as LootAMatic and Expedition Chronicle, alongside improvements to the game's existing interface. Changes to vanilla gameplay and interface • Guild upgrades: Combat skills use a compact grid with one icon per skill. Each icon shows its current rank; hover to see the next rank, its requirements and cost, then click to purchase it. This replaces the separate rank shields and also supports custom skill rows for modded classes. • Clearer buff sources: Character-sheet and combat status tooltips can identify the skill, character, trinket or quirk responsible for a modifier, making it easier to understand where your bonuses and penalties come from. • Critical-hit bonuses: The CRIT tooltip explains the hero's class critical-hit bonus, including its duration. Named popups make supported bonuses visible when they activate, rather than only showing a generic "Buff!" message. • Combat popups: Mods can give effects their own popup names, including buffs, debuffs and status applications. DDX also exposes combat messages to clients such as Expedition Chronicle, which presents them as a readable expedition log. • Story expedition intros: The loading screen's continue prompt appears as soon as the game is ready. Continue with Space or a left click to enter the expedition and stop the intro narration. Gameplay extensions used by client mods Some features are enabled or configured by the mods using DDX: • Riposte with equipped skills: A client mod can replace a hero's dedicated riposte attack with a randomly chosen eligible skill from their selected combat skills. Selection respects the hero's position, the attacker's position, valid targets, cooldowns and remaining uses. A riposte consumes a battle-limited use and starts the skill's cooldown where applicable. If no eligible skill is available, the riposte is skipped. LootAMatic enables this for melee skills; monsters retain their own riposte skills. • Stash tabs and sorting: Client mods can organise the estate stash into tabs with their own sorting controls. Items remain in the same underlying storage. DDX also supports custom item sale values and salvage actions for mods that provide them. • Expanded mod interfaces: Clients can add custom panels, tooltips, inventory item types, skill conditions and persistent data. LootAMatic supplies its equipment systems; Expedition Chronicle supplies its expedition log. For mod authors The core engine interface is native C/C++, with a C API for client integration. I have also made a C# wrapper library to make interfacing with the engine and creating new clients easier. It provides managed access to DDX services while client mods can be compiled into native libraries using .NET NativeAOT. I will add a link to the library's GitHub repository here in the future, including the source and documentation for building your own clients. Installation and launching Subscribe to this item and the mods you want, then enable them for your campaign. DDX must be loaded when the game starts. Steam must be running. Windows (x64): Open this item's installed Workshop folder and run bin/ddxlaunch.exe. For a custom Steam library, run it with --game followed by the quoted DarkestDungeon install directory. Keep ddx.dll beside ddxlaunch.exe. macOS: Run bash followed by the quoted path to launch-macos.sh in this item's installed folder. For a custom install, pass the full path to Darkest.app as the next argument. Apple Silicon requires Rosetta. Workshop items are installed under steamapps/workshop/content/262060/ . PLAYER_README.txt in this item includes examples and Steam launch options.
