Shizuha Aki & Minoriko Aki A new playable character has been added: the Aki Sisters, the Stage 1 midboss and boss from Touhou Project’s Touhou Fuujinroku ~ Mountain of Faith. This time, join Lucy and hold a magnificent harvest festival across the Ark and the Twisted Land! Shizuha Aki and Minoriko Aki are among the myriad gods who govern autumn in Gensokyo. Shizuha is the goddess of autumn leaves, while Minoriko is the goddess of harvest. They are friendly, approachable, and possess little of the imposing dignity usually associated with gods. During battle, they generate the special skills “Almond Blossoms of the Withering Shepherd” and “Pear Primroses of the Harvest Reaper,” while also granting cards in your hand either a “Maple Leaf Mark” or a “Sweet Potato Mark.” “Almond Blossoms of the Withering Shepherd” and “Pear Primroses of the Harvest Reaper” can inflict the debuffs Decay and Wither on enemies. Meanwhile, “Maple Leaf Marks” and “Sweet Potato Marks” allow you to retain skills in your hand and grant the unique buffs Autumnal Spirit and Fragrance, which help protect you from damage. Assess the situation carefully and make flexible use of these two abilities to hold a magnificent harvest festival in the Spire! Although your deck may become packed with a huge number of minor junk cards, using them wisely can transform them into tremendous combat power. You can also use “Maple Leaf Marks” and “Sweet Potato Marks” to retain cards in your hand until the perfect moment. Overall, this character was expanded from my Aki Sisters mod for Chrono Ark. However, the various mechanics of the Aki Sisters are so tightly interconnected that almost no matter which direction you take when choosing cards, you ultimately end up playing them in nearly the same way... I cannot think of a particularly good solution, so this issue will probably have to be addressed by introducing entirely new archetypes.
