Damage Forecast helps you see how much HP you are about to lose before ending your turn. It adds a small read-only -N forecast near your HP bar, based on the current combat state. v0.3.0 Update • Party Watch is now Damage Forecast. Existing settings are migrated automatically. • Added five independent HUD placement options for -N , N , and advanced details: left or right of the health bar, above the character, below the health bar, or above the End Turn button. • The HUD now preserves the last valid forecast and its position after ending the turn. • Improved local-player forecast updates while waiting for teammates in multiplayer, including Block, enemy attack modifiers, enemy deaths, and Intent changes. • Adjusted the HUD position above the End Turn button. • Updated compatibility for the current public-beta v0.110.1. Requires BaseLib This mod requires BaseLib . BaseLib provides the Damage Forecast settings page. Without BaseLib enabled, the mod may still load, but its settings page may not be available. Current Features • Shows expected HP loss as -N near the local player's health bar • Optionally displays incoming damage as N • Can display both N and -N at the same time • Local HUD support in multiplayer battles • Multiple-enemy incoming damage forecast • Handles many complex cases: block, Frost, Plating, curses, turn-end damage, direct HP loss, and relic / power modifiers • Optional 🛡 blockable damage and ♥ direct HP loss details • Independent placement options for -N , N , and advanced details, plus position offsets and color options • Automatically hides on covering screens -N is the HP loss Damage Forecast expects you to take this turn. N is the incoming damage calculated using your selected settings, making it easier to judge how much more Block or damage reduction you need. Advanced settings let you choose whether the N calculation accounts for: • Current Block • Block provided by Powers • Block provided by relics • Damage reduction provided by Powers • Damage reduction provided by relics These options affect only N . They do not change the original -N expected HP loss display. When Damage Forecast cannot predict a value reliably, it hides that value instead of showing a potentially incorrect result. Known Gaps • Thorns / reflected damage • Poison-style delayed damage Multiplayer Note This release supports the local player's HUD in multiplayer battles. I still plan to explore teammate forecasts later: the goal is to provide a quick readout near the top-left party HP bars, so you can see how much HP each teammate is expected to lose this turn. In multiplayer runs, a teammate's mistake can sometimes add enough extra damage to make the whole party consider an SL. A clear forecast could help warn them before the turn resolves.
