The Iudex arrives at the spire Use powerful deck manipulation and debuffs to consistently position yourself to defeat enemies in a few decisive blows. The Iudex is a character focused on manipulating the odds of combat in her favor through numerous retain, draw, and transform options. Once she's in a good position, unleash Critical Hits using the new Luck mechanic to swiftly end combats. Powerful Pure cards can bypass damage reduction but punish you for playing too many. Stealth acts as more accessible but temporary Dexterity to help stall until the right time. Alternatively, build up Kairos to generate a powerful scaling token card, "penitence". While most of her kit is based around consistency, there are quite a few cards that leave things up to chance for those of you who love taking risks. Mechanics • Fate - The starting relic which helps manage Kairos and Enevation • Luck - The main mechanic of the character, which allows attacks to be Critical Hits, increasing damage and triggering synergies with other cards. • Pure - A powerful keyword that prevents cards from having their power reduced by effects such as weak, frail, slippery, intangible, etc. • Enervation - A mechanic that penalizes playing too many Pure cards. Having too much will increase the energy cost of Pure cards. • Gaze - A debuff that increases Critical damage against enemies. • Stealth - A buff that functions like Dexterity with the downside of halving at the start of your turn. • Kairos - A mechanic similar to Forge that generates a powerful scaling Token card. • Covert - A keyword that reduces energy cost by 1 while you have Stealth. • Wisdom - A power that increases the damage of Pure attacks. The balance may also be questionable at times, so don't be afraid to leave feedback in the comments. This is my first time making a mod, so expect plenty of bugs, especially in multiplayer.
