After many many years, The Runesmith is back to Slay the Spire (2)! The Runesmith 2 is a port and rework of The Runesmith mod from Slay the Spire 1. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1633549612 The Runesmith is a character centered around Upgrading/Enhancing cards while Crafting Runes to provide consistent support. Elements are gained from cards and are required to Craft these Runes. The character might be a bit slow to start but she makes up for it with her scaling potential. Content • A new character • 88 Cards + 5 Multiplayer Cards • 13 Types of Runes (fully animated) • 7 Character specific relics + 1 starter relic + 1 upgraded starter relic • 3 Character specific potions Mechanics and Keywords • Rune : Runes are similar to orb. They trigger their passive abilities at the end or start of turns. • Recipe : Recipe cards cost Elements to play. If you do not have enough Elements, you can still play the card to gain Elements equal to the Elements cost instead. • Craft : Create a Rune using Elements. You can have no more than 7 active Runes. • Elements : Elements (Ignis, Terra, Aqua) are used to play Recipe cards or improve certain card effects. • Potency : Potency is the power of a Rune when it is Crafted. Some Runes do not have Potency stat and will have a fixed passive ability power instead. • Charge : Runes deplete 1 Charge to activate their passive abilities. • Break : Destroy a Rune and activate its Break ability. Break abilities are typically double of passive ones. • Enhance : Increase damage, Block and Potency of a card by 50%. Can be stacked additively. Enhance is removed after the card is played. • Stasis : Prevent a card from losing Enhance when played. Stasis is not consumed after prevention. • Ice-Cold (Debuff): Target loses 1 attack damage per stack. Stack goes down by half at the end of turn. • Amp (Buff): Your next Crafted Rune gains additional Potency. • Brace (Buff): Your next played card with Block gains additional Block. Disclaimers • This mod is currently in development. Many art assets, animations, and texts are either placeholders or beta art. These will get updated as the development progresses. (See change notes for all the updates so far.) • Likewise, the balance of this mod is also being constantly adjusted. • All arts in this mod are drawn by me, Blizzarre.
