🧀 Cat & Mouse: The Whole Neighborhood 🐾 You know the chase. Mouse steals cheese, cat sets a trap, trap lands on cat, dog wakes up, everybody runs. This mod stuffs that entire neighborhood into the Spire: seven playable characters, 82 cards each, 574 cards total — plus the neighborhood fights back with its own enemies, an end boss, and story events . Built to be dragged into multiplayer together, fully playable solo. Meet the Neighborhood 🐭 THE TRICKSTER — the mouse (57 HP, 82 cards) Wins by cheating, obviously. Stacks Mischief , plants Bait on enemies, and Hides right before the swing lands. His Cheese Wedge pays out every 2nd Skill now — the cheating got easier. Late game the Cheese Hoard comes down and the Mischief never stops. 🐱 THE PURSUER — the cat (71 HP, 82 cards) The plan is perfect. The plan always backfires. Marks prey with Chase for bonus damage, turns every Bruised mishap into Block — and his Bent Whisker now starts every fight pre-dented (2 Bruised at combat start, the engine runs itself). Frying pans, bowling balls, a falling anvil. Nine lives, needs all of them. 🐶 THE WATCHDOG — the dog (85 HP, 82 cards) The neighborhood's wall — and he brings his boy. Play Call Scrap and the pup joins the fight as a real second creature with his own HP, just like the Necrobinder's companion. Attacks that get through papa's Block strike the pup instead; if Scrap falls, papa gains Strength — and Call Scrap brings the boy right back. Seven of the dog's guard cards Block your entire party . Bring a dog. Everyone lives longer. 💋 THE CHARMER — the star (65 HP, 82 cards) Never throws the first punch. Doesn't have to. Enemies who stare too long get Smitten and swing 2 lighter per stack, and her Spotlight punishes anyone rude enough to hit her. Her mana is literally a pink heart. Limelight up, whole room in love, fight over. 👑 THE BRUISER — the rival (75 HP, 82 cards) King of the back alley, crown made from a sardine tin. No gadgets, no tricks, no shame. Just Strength , more Strength every turn once Prize Fighter is down, and a haymaker with your name on it. 🍼 THE SQUIRT — the little one (62 HP, 82 cards) Tiny, hungry, completely fearless. Plays cheap cards faster than you can read them, and his Lucky Bib feeds him Mischief every fourth card. Snacks his HP back constantly. Do not be fooled by the diaper. 🐥 THE DUCKLING — the littlest one (50 HP, 82 cards) NEW! Fifty HP of pure confidence. He doesn't fight — he tells his parents . Call Mama and she waddles in sweet as pie; call Papa and the big drake plants himself in front of the little guy and takes the hits for him . Both are real creatures with their own HP standing at his side, growing all fight. His starting deck barely attacks — it summons (even his two starter Strikes are Mama Strike and Papa Strike). Family Whistle draws you a card every time family answers. Quack. NEW: The Neighborhood Fights Back • Custom enemies : the Alley Canary, the wind-up Clockwork Mouser, and The Housekeeper elite — you only ever see the polka-dot skirt, the stockings, and the broom. You know exactly who she is. • End boss : the PUSH-BUTTON PROWLER , an Act 3 mechanical super-cat. Hunts calmly by the manual... until you crack it open and it goes haywire. • 5 story events with original art and real choices: raid the Midnight Icebox, haggle in the Mouse Hole Market, brawl at the Backyard Standoff, dance with the Attic Phonograph, tithe at the Cheese Cathedral. • Everyone animates : attack lunges, hit reactions, and death tumbles for all seven characters, the whole pet family, and every new enemy. • 11 new pool relics spread across the roster — Chew Toy, Championship Belt, Ball of Yarn, Stage Rose, Thimble Cap, Bread Crumbs and friends. Bait meets Chase: the mouse baits, the cat pounces, both get paid. 🍼 Uncle & Nephew (Squirt + Trickster), the biggest family in the mod — 11 cards: Famous Uncle, Tagalong Trouble, Mousehole Relay, Double Trouble, Uncle's Lesson, Pocket Ride, Uncle Taught Me Well, Nursery Rhyme, Family Recipe, Little Big Help, Uncle Says Hi 💋 The Love Triangle (Charmer + Pursuer + Bruiser): Both cats want her attention and she knows it. Springtime Serenade needs BOTH suitors in the party — the rivalry gives each of them Strength. Love Triangle makes every rival cat leap to shield her. Two Suitors powers up whichever cat is around. The cats fight back with Win Her Heart, Duel for Her, Steal Her Gaze, Flowers for Her, Show Off — and settle it cat-to-cat with Alley Gang . 🐥 The Duckling Adores the Mouse (Duckling + Trickster) — 6 cards: The little quacker's best friend taught him everything he knows. Best Friend Mouse, Pondside Parley, Bread for Two, Little Lookout, Swimming Lessons, Quack Alarm — full effects solo, extra kindness when the actual mouse is in the party. 🐶 The Big Dog Watches Everyone (Watchdog + anybody): Listen Pussycat — his bark flushes prey into the open, marking every enemy with Chase for a cat ally. Protect the Little Guy — Block for him AND the Squirt. And his squad guards ( Good Boy, Doghouse Wall, Yard Standoff, Dig In, Kennel Guard, Hold the Line, Guard Everyone ) Block your whole party, whoever they are. Devil's Bargains About two dozen cards across the roster are deliberately overstatted... with a catch. Fair Fight : 20 damage, target gains 2 Strength. Shared Bowl : 12 Block, every enemy heals. Alley Deal : free energy and a card, everyone in the room gets angrier. Sometimes the trade is great. Sometimes it loses you the fight. That's the fun part — you get to decide wrong. Also In the Box • 7 scaling engine powers — one signature build-around each • 18 relics with real mechanics: 7 starters (all built to fire every fight) + 11 pool relics • Custom select sounds, animated select screens, campfire & shop sprites for everyone • The Architect has personal opinions about each of the seven invading her Spire.
