Bring Kefka Palazzo from Final Fantasy VI into Slay the Spire 2 as a fully animated saboteur built around traps, Poison, enemy manipulation, and turning every combat into his personal performance. Plant Jests on enemies and wait for them to trigger their own Punchlines, or force the joke early with cards like Your Cue. Rig enemy Block to explode, punish buffs and attacks, spread Poison across the battlefield, and chain multiple Punchlines together as Kefka turns the enemy’s own actions against them. Take control of the entire fight with Stages, powerful combat-wide rules that change how Kefka’s tricks function. Swap Stages as the situation changes, build around Poison or Punchline chains, and use relics that reward constantly changing the performance with additional resources. Every Punchline pushes Kefka closer to his Limit, Perfect Punchline, giving his sabotage-heavy game plan an explosive payoff once the performance reaches its climax.
