This mod specifically only works on the Beta Branch. Inspired by Magic the Gathering, The Combo Player focuses on, well, combo-ing cards together. In this mod, you'll find... • A New Character, The Combo Player • 86 Cards (including fan favorites Strike and Defend!) • 5 Multiplayer Cards • 26 Somewhat New Tokens! (at least 6 are Shiv variants) • 1 Starter Relic + 1 Upgraded Starter Relic • 7 Character Specific Relics (and maybe some more...) • 3 Character Specific Potions Mechanics Impending comes in four flavors! For the next X times you play a card, you can also draw a card, gain energy, deal 5 damage, or gain 5 Block! These effects often lead to playing a ton of cards in a turn, so see if you can find a Storm payoff! If Conditionals take on a life of their own! A good chunk cards check the last card type you've played for extra effects, but that's just the start. These cards will have you think about how exactly to sequence your turn! Devote yourself to the Devotion architype by picking and playing as many as you can! Devotion itself doesn't do anything, but most of them get better as your Devotion increases! These three main architypes all focus on finding the best ways to combine your cards, but you'll also find some Scry synergies to help find the right cards, as well as some minor Exhaust synergy. Art All of the card art is ripped from Magic: the Gathering cards, which I obviously do not own. If it's not pulled from Magic, I've reused arts from Slay the Spire, sometimes edited. Lastly, the character art itself is what I've done, and I hope that explains exactly why I'm using art from Magic and Spire. No AI was used in any part of this, unless there's some rogue Magic artists...
